Pessimism thrives while government expects growth...
« on: May 14, 2014, 07:24:40 AM »

The vast majority of Greeks claim they feel insecure and unhappy since their own lives and the future direction of Greece are expected to get worse
According to a poll published in a Greek newspaper, just 3 out of 10 Greeks feel satisfied from their lives while the remaining 7 claim to be totally disappointed.

When asked about their future, 71 percent of the respondents replied that they feel completely insecure and only 26 percent expressed positive views about the forthcoming years.

When questioned about their financial situation, 73 percent answered that it has gotten worse, 24 percent claimed it has remained the same and only 3 percent estimated that their finance is improving.

Greek views regarding unemployment are highly pessimistic since 49 percent of the respondents believe unemployment rates are going to rise, 28 percent believe they are going to stay the same and only 23 percent of them think unemployment is going to fall.

 >:( They'll be voicing their opinion veeery soon  ;D

Latest Results:
Golden Dawn : 27.1%
SYRIZA: 23.8%
New Democracy: 11.1%

The poll group, which was the only one who predicted the real results of Golden Dawn in the 2012 Greek elections, Zougla.gr, unveiled a poll on Greek television yesterday showing Golden Dawn is now the most popular party in Greece!

The Greek media has been attempting to show doctored polls as of late, alleging that these are “proof” of Golden Dawn’s falling popularity. What these polls all seem to have in common however, is the very large number of undecided voters who refuse to answer. The reason for this is that these fake polls are taken via telephone, and in the current climate of illegal imprisonment and terrorism against Golden Dawn supporters many average citizens are afraid to give their real beliefs to strangers who know their phone number and profile them demographically. What makes zougla.gr polls unique is that they are taken via internet, with catches in place to correct fraud.

The following tables present the meteoric rise of the Golden Dawn and the commanding lead the People’s Nationalist movement holds in preparation for the upcoming European and Municipal elections. Golden Dawn leader N. Michaloliakos has increased substantially in popularity, and other research shows a mass exodus of New Democracy voters to the Nationalist alternative. (1 in 3 ND voters are spitting on Samaras and becoming supporters of Golden Dawn).

The party of Samaras has been suffering unprecedented desertion and lack of voter confidence, here is the zougla.gr chart outlining so:

The #s are a bit crazy  :o

Below I'm posting the mainstream polls/narrative  :'(

Currently, SYRIZA is leading ahead of New Democracy, regarding the May 25th European elections by half a percent in popularity.

Yet a GPO poll administered for Mega Television broadcast also revealed that ND leads by 1.4%, if elections were being conducted today.  The analysis studied Greek citizen's voting opinions between May 8th through 12th. It revealed a 21.5% lead for SYRIZA, compared to ND's 21% ranking. To Potami held third place at 8.5%, Golden Dawn generated 7.5%, and Greek Communist Party KKE gained 7%. The Olive Tree association achieved 6%, with Independent Greeks at 3.7% and Democratic Left with 3%. 14% of votes were currently undecided.

When asked about a general election vote now, New Democracy held 24.5% and SYRIZA had 23.1%. KKE placed third with 7.2% of votes, and The River achieved 7%, with Golden Dawn at 6.9%. The Olive Tree generated 5.9%, Independent Greeks held 4%, and Democratic Left had 2.8%. There was a 12.1% undecided vote.
