Predicting Crime in a Big Data World

Chaos Computer Congress, held annually in Berlin.

Predicting Crime in a Big Data World [32c3] by Whitney Merrill

I understand that the Chaos Computer Congress is about computing, software and technology.  Personally, I have even resigned myself to constant commercial intrusions, but her lecture is about state tyranny and no one has spoken out..

What she describes and appears to support are tools for a police state.

To be fair to Ms. Merrill, she has pointed out flaws and areas of potential abuse but we can be sure that they will be overlooked in the long run.. Police have a disturbing reputation for overstating law enforcement actions.

In the US, we have a prison population rivaling that of the Soviet Gulag and this trajectory insures a demand for more prisons.  The racial disparities and lengthy sentences for the young are tantamount to genocide in slow motion.

How can you guys not speak out about this?

fro... money will not go away.... it is the entire reason this is happening... they will be switched to the new digital currency since the dollar will no longer be available... they will not have anywhere to spend it right away but a card will be issued to them so that they may use their debit card... only difference will be no cash...

we will either submit or trade...
