SIMPLE RULES OF THE PEOPLE

The People forum is a place where like minded people can discuss the news and events that are shaping the trends of tomorrow.

Here at The People we value the Constitution of the United States of America and all of the amendments that it contains. And sometimes that also means that we have to respect another's right to speak their mind, regardless of how wrong we may think that they are. It's important to remember that when we stifle someone first amendment right, we stifle our rights as well.

We like to think here on The People that our members are some of the best informed people. Your some of the most intelligent people that we have had the pleasure of knowing.

We would like to ask our members to keep in mind others rights to say what they like as you can say what it is that you like. We just ask that you be nice in your post to other members. There is no reason to be mean because someone does not see things the way we do. If you encounter a troll we encourage you to report it to the moderator and we will deal with it.

Also keep in mind the main job of a troll is to divide people. Please don't help them by being mean and/or rude in your post to others. Because when you do that your making the trolls job that much more easier. What we do recommend is reporting any post that you may think may be from a troll so that we can read and track their post. Remember that this is a site for like minded people.

But the best weapon that we have from trolls is you. We also recommend that if you chose to respond to a post from a troll that you hit them with cold hard facts. You can also back up your facts with links to prove what your saying is true. Avoid making your post personal and/or emotional. That's a tool of the trolls and a tactic that they use to divide people.

With the economic collapse and looming war lurking around the corner, this is a time that we should be pulling together to help each other prep for what's coming. Plus, when a person is rude or mean and a new member sees post like that then we may lose that someone that wanted to join The People forum.
