Current News – 05.06.2018

  • Tangem, a start-up operating from Switzerland and Singapore, has launched a pilot sale of physical notes of Bitcoin (BTC),
  •   “smart banknotes” with a chip developed by Samsung Semiconductor, reportedly allow consumers to physically carry Bitcoin stored in denominations of 0.01 (about $96) and 0.05 BTC (about $482). The first pilot batch, consisting of 10,000 notes, will be shipped from Singapore to potential partners and distributors around the world.

  •   the idea behind creating physical notes of Bitcoin was in part to increase the ease of spending crypto, “improv[ing] the simplicity and security of acquiring, owning, and circulating cryptocurrencies.”
  • Singapore has developed a reputation as a hub for cryptocurrency and blockchain development in Asia. Recently, The Singapore Fintech Association and the Fintech Association of Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on fintech development. Additionally, China and Singapore completed a shipment of gasoline entirely using blockchain technology in early April. In March of this year, Singapore’s central bank reaffirmed its commitment to using blockchain for cross-border payments.

Russia Plans To Run Inter-bank Payments System On Blockchain

  •  Russia’s inter-bank payments clearing system is planned to be run on the blockchain by 2019. Russia developed the alternative to SWIFT about four years back after reports that the banks in the country may be cut off from the system due to Russian annexation of Crimea.
  •  the Central Bank will transfer the Financial Communications Transfer System (SPFS) – the Russian equivalent of SWIFT – to the blockchain system.” The information was confirmed by two more sources to the publication.
  • Russian Central bank wants the security and transparency offered by SPFS to make it more appealing for use by financial institutions.
  • Using blockchain technology in SPFS would safeguard the system from hackers. In the past, Russian banks have experienced hacking related issues while using Swift.Crypto specialists is of the view that the new system may offer a better alternative to SWIFT due to the security offered in message transmissions and tamper-proof nature.

    •   corporate borrowers might be approaching the day of  reckoning,  a credit reckoning may be near.
    •   balance sheets have become more and more bloated from ecess borrowing stoked by the Federal Reserve’s easy-money policies, shrinking bond yield premiums don’t make sense. At some point, they argue, there will have to be a reckoning.
    • Could we be nearing that point?

  • One place you can see them is in the latest monthly survey put out by the National Association of Credit Management. This organization surveys 1,000 trade credit managers in the manufacturing and service industries across the U.S. Like most surveys of its kind lately, the main index number was down a bit from its recent highs. But some Wall Street strategists are focusing on a more alarming data point showing a collapse in a category called “dollar collections.” The index covering that part of the survey – which measures the ability of creditors to collect the money they are owed from their customers – tumbled to 46.7 in April from 59.6 in March, putting it at its lowest level since early 2009, the height of the financial crisis.

  • The folks at the NACM aren’t quite sure what to make of the big plunge,   What they do know, however, is that credit conditions are getting weaker. As they describe it, the strengthening economy has forced more companies to boost borrowings to keep pace with their competitors. Now, they may be struggling to keep on top of that debt.
  • “Rising interest rates will add pressure on corporates with large refinancing needs,”

  •   watching economic and social collapse in real-time, in Venezuela, a haircut now costs 5 bananas and 2 eggs.
    •  There are Facebook pages and chat-room groups devoted to the swap-ability of everything from toothpaste to baby formula.
    • A barber in the countryside cuts hair for yuccas, bananas or eggs. Moto-taxi drivers will get you where you need to go for carton of cigarettes. The owners of one of my favorite Mexican restaurants offer a plate of burritos, enchiladas, tamal and tacos in return for a few packages of paper napkins.

  • A newly unredacted section of a House Intel Committee report reveals that former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe told Congressional investigators that the FBI had virtually no case against Mike Flynn

1281  Apr 27 2018 14:30:14

Re: Flynn? “Done in 30.” Expand. Q
  • The same report reveals that James Comey contradicted himself during a recent interview with Bret Baier
  • Comey, McCabe and then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Mary McCord gave the committee “conflicting testimony”
  •   Lisa Page  has flown the coop, tendering her resignation on Friday
  • One of Comey’s closest confidants, former FBI top lawyer James A. Baker also resigned Friday

McCabe also says that former FBI Director James Comey spearheaded the “ambush” of Flynn at the White House – in which two FBI agents, one of whom was Peter Strzok dropped in unannounced to interrogate him.

Comey lied he didn’t tell Congressional investigators what McCabe told them; that the two FBI agents who interviewed former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn didn’t think he was lying to them.

“Director Comey testified to the Committee that ‘the agents…discerned no physical indications of deception,” reads the new report. “They didn’t see any change in posture, in tone, in inflection, in eye contact. They saw nothing that indicated to them that he knew he was lying to them.”

the DOJ and FBI “demanded significant redactions to the document not to protect national security or sources and methods, but to protect potentially corrupt officials from accountability”

So why would Flynn plead guilty?

Q !xowAT4Z3VQ 1211294
Why would Flynn plead guilty to something untrue?
Define testimony.
Define ‘on record’.
Who knows where the bodies are buried?
Flynn is safe.
Expand your thinking. Q

Samantha Power gets PUMMELED on twitter after she voices her support for Al Qaeda proxy White Helmets

  • Obama’s former UN Ambassador tweets to save jihadist group White Helmets.
  • Now that the the US State Department’s support for the White Helmets is “under active review,” according to a CBS News report…which as close as you will get to the United States government admitting that the entire Douma chemical attack was a complete hoax…the die hard Deep State shills are crawling out from under their holes to express their “outrage” that the Al Qaeda proxy PR jihadists (branded the White Helmets) may finally be disbanded and defunded.
  • Former UN Ambassador under former POTUS Obama, Samantha Power (a woman who lusts after the overthrow of Assad), tweeted out her loyal support for the jihadist group, sprinkled with some hollywood Oscar propaganda, believing she could fool millions of twitter users who recognize the White Helmets for what they truly are…head chopping, Al Qaeda/ISIS terrorists.

Twitter users PUMMELED Power in the ground for her lies and war mongering…

Logan Act Violation: John Kerry Colludes With Iran Against US

He sat down at the United Nations with Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to discuss ways of preserving the pact limiting Iran’s nuclear weapons program. It was the second time in about two months that the two had met to strategize over salvaging a deal they spent years negotiating during the Obama administration,

Kerry is coordinating his push with a group of officials who were his top advisers at the State Department, and who helped craft and negotiate the Iran deal in the first place. The group, called Diplomacy Works, has an advisory council that includes lead Iran-deal negotiator Wendy Sherman, former State Department chief of staff Jon Finer, and former spokeswoman Jen Psaki.
