of the underground caverns by pulling out and diminishing internal pressures too rapidly. Donald Trump – Has added about 30 million barrels back over the last year despite all the technical issues caused by the Biden abuse. That’s the truth about the SPR. All else is smelly BS. P.S.: The withdrawals during the first Trump term were forced by congress in stupid programs to mask its out-of-control spending habits, so don’t even try to go there.
A bunch of left-wing morons have been spamming my replies today asking me why Trump hasn’t refilled the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).

But the SPR can be depleted at a rate of ~4.4 million barrels / day because it was designed to provide a rapid emergency supply during oil disruptions. markets.businessinsider.com/news/commoditi energy.gov/articles/energ The SPR holds a little over 700 million barrels of crude oil. At maximum rates, it would take 7–8 years to fill it up from its current levels. Anyone with an IQ higher than a pumpkin understands that it cannot be done overnight, but the SPR has gradually been refilling since the drawdown ended. The left tards suggesting otherwise must take an hour and a half to watch 60 Minutes.

Trump Says He’s “Not Concerned” About Biggest Gas Pump Price Spike In Years
- The surge in gasoline and diesel prices at pumps nationwide doesn’t appear to be a concern for President Trump (at least not yet).
- “I don’t have any concern about it,” the president told Reuters in an interview on Thursday evening when asked about rising prices.
- “They’ll drop very rapidly when this is over, and if they rise, they rise, but this is far more important than having gasoline prices go up a little bit.”

The document highlights that cyberspace originated in America and is integral to national security, economy, and daily life. It rejects incremental measures in favor of direct, proactive responses, including offensive cyber operations. Key themes include protecting freedom of expression, outcompeting authoritarian technologies (e.g., those with built-in censorship), modernizing systems, and fostering public-private partnerships.Six Policy PillarsThe strategy is structured around six pillars that guide implementation:
- Deploy defensive and offensive cyber operations to detect and defeat threats before they breach U.S. systems. Erode adversaries’ capabilities using all instruments of national power, counter surveillance states, uproot cybercrime, and impose consequences. Emphasize collective defense with allies for fair risk distribution.
- Streamline regulations to reduce burdens, enhance agility against evolving threats, and protect American privacy. Avoid costly checklists that hinder response and innovation.
- Accelerate updates with best practices like post-quantum cryptography, zero-trust architecture, and AI-powered tools. Hunt for threats, prioritize national security systems, and improve procurement to access top technologies.
- : Prioritize hardening sectors like energy, finance, telecom, data centers, and healthcare. Secure supply chains by shifting from adversary products to U.S. technologies, ensure quick recovery, and integrate state/local efforts.
- Secure innovation by building privacy-focused technologies, supporting cryptocurrencies and blockchain, adopting post-quantum cryptography and secure quantum computing. Protect the AI stack, implement AI for cyber defense, and counter foreign AI platforms that censor or surveil users.
- Invest in the cyber workforce as a strategic asset. Create pragmatic pipelines through education, training, and incentives across academia, industry, and government to recruit and develop skilled professionals.
The strategy commits to swift, sustained actions to disable threats, modernize infrastructure, and ensure U.S. dominance. It promises to disrupt adversaries, remove ineffective regulations, and build resilience for economic growth. Follow-on policies will detail resourcing and metrics for success.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent Discusses U.S. Maritime Reinsurance and Global Energy Markets
- The geopolitical ramifications of the oil and liquified natural gas (LNG) impact from the ongoing conflict with Iran is changing many of the world’s energy supply chains. Given the nature of the issues there are a myriad of complex dynamics to discuss. However, one key component is the U.S. policy shift to deal with the supply.
- With that in mind, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent appears with Larry Kudlow to discuss the United States’ new $20 billion maritime reinsurance plan as well as the ongoing conflict in Iran.

to put their money and their energy into the fake War with Russia. How is that going for them? Well, Zelensky cut off their pipeline, the EU cut off his loans and now the real war is a war of words between Zelensky-Ukraine and Europe. Russia doesn’t seem to be as important in their interactions these days.
- Ukraine (Zelenskyy) was angry at Hungary (Orban) for blocking the €90 billion EU loan (a loan with no payback clause) which was backed by confiscated Russian sovereign wealth funds. A splendidly European financial scheme.
- To get back at Viktor Orban, Volodymyr Zelenskyy destroyed an oil/gas pipeline hub in Ukraine that transferred Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia (Robert Fico).
- Hungary and Slovakia were furious, and Zelenskyy said repairs were too complicated to be easily fixed. Viktor Orban and Robert Fico then doubled down on blocking Ukraine funds and Ukraine’s assentation to the EU.
- When Zelenskyy was questioned about Hungarian or EU inspectors visiting the site to evaluate the repairs, Zelenskyy said they would not be allowed access.
- Zelenskyy further noted when he was told Patriot Missiles were in short supply, he did not get to visit the inventory; implying his lies were similar to lies told by the United States.
- Caught in a lie, Zelenskyy followed up by saying he didn’t care, it was Russian oil so get lost.
- Two days ago, Hungary then intercepted two Ukraine vans carrying $40 million in cash dollars, €35 million in cash Euros, and 9 kg of gold – presumably a money laundering transfer intended to fund Zelenskyy and his intelligence chiefs.
- Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stating that “since January, $900 million and €420 million in cash, as well as 146 kilograms of gold, have been transported across Hungary.”
- The shipment apprehended by Hungary included 40 million U.S. dollars as well as 35 million euros and 9 kilograms (19.8 pounds) of gold — worth around $1.5 million at current prices — according to a separate statement by Oschadbank.
- Upon hearing of the intercept yesterday, a highly angered Volodymyr Zelenskyy then threatened to send Ukraine “special military operators” to the home of Viktor Orban to extract revenge.
- Zelenskyy, with pants down and visibly on fire, now missing all the money/gold, retreats from the originating position that started this mess and says he will repair the oil transfer station he destroyed, if Hungary will permit Ukraine to get the €90 billion loan (not a loan) from the Russian sovereign wealth fund.

Trump’s Gulf of Hormuz Maritime Security and Insurance Proposal
- On March 3, President Trump announced two measures via Truth Social. First, he ordered the United States Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to provide political risk insurance for all maritime trade traveling through the Gulf, particularly energy shipments, at a “very reasonable price” available to all shipping lines.
- Second, he said: “If necessary, the United States Navy will begin escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible. No matter what, the United States will ensure the FREE FLOW of ENERGY to the WORLD.”
- On the insurance side, JPMorgan analysts estimated that roughly 329 vessels are currently operating in the Persian Gulf, each requiring oil pollution, salvage, hull, and third-party liability insurance. That implies approximately $352 billion in maximum insurance coverage that private markets are no longer providing.
- The DFC’s statutory risk exposure was $205 billion as of December 2025, meaning the potential demand already exceeds the agency’s legal capacity. Any program beyond those limits would require an act of Congress.
- As of March 6, the International Underwriting Association and the International Union of Marine Insurers clarified that war risk cover remains available on a single-voyage basis under a specific agreement, but warned that “insurers will regularly re-examine their ability and willingness” to provide cover in the current fast-moving situation.
- European nations have also begun deploying additional naval and air-defense forces to the region. France is sending the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and additional escorts to the Eastern Mediterranean. British F-35s and Typhoon fighters and French Rafale jets have been defending airspace over Cyprus, Jordan, Qatar, and UAE facilities. Air-defense systems across the region have intercepted more than 1,000 Iranian drones and several hundred missiles since the conflict began.
- President Trump will be keeping the strait open for everyone, and he claims it will be at a reasonable cost. This should keep everyone in the game, not just China. Additionally, U.S. naval patrols escorting ships would hopefully deter attacks and help maintain security in the region.

— Michael McNair (@michaeljmcnair) March 5, 2026
critical industrial inputs. Starved of oil, they were forced into gambles that cost them the war…Japan attacking Pearl Harbor to seize the oil in the Dutch East Indies, Germany marching to the Caucasus to take the Baku oil fields. Input scarcity doesn’t just weaken you. It steers your decisions. It pulls decisions away from the optimal plan and toward the necessary plan. China learned this lesson and decided to be the one holding the chokepoints. By embedding itself so deeply into the upstream supply chains that feed American military production, a conflict would trigger Western industrial paralysis and neuter its ability to fight a long war. But the chokehold only works if the West doesn’t rectify its supply chain vulnerabilities before China is ready to move on Taiwan. So China’s central strategic requirement was to delay Western recognition of the threat for as long as possible. Thus, China’s entire foreign policy posture becomes oriented around appearing non-threatening. And it works because it aligns with the economic incentives of Western elites who benefit from cheap inputs and profitable trade. The cost of denial is kept artificially low. Raising the alarm looks like paranoia or protectionism when cheap goods keep flowing and no shots are being fired. The administration is now racing to unwind its supply chain vulnerability before the conflict window opens. But that takes years, and they face significant inertia, both domestically and among allies who remain naively blind to the risk. China knows this. So their strategy is to keep the West sleepwalking. Which means they can’t show their hand. If China comes into direct military conflict with the US in order to defend a proxy, the West wakes up. The inertia collapses. The reshoring and remilitarization that China spent decades trying to prevent happens on an emergency timeline. But the US finally realized it could use this against them. Since China can’t show its hand until it’s ready to move on Taiwan, the US realized that it can turn China’s greatest strategic asset, the pacifist disguise, into a structural trap. They cannot take overtly aggressive action without triggering the Western industrial mobilization their entire strategy depends on preventing. So the US can eliminate their proxies and China can’t respond without destroying the disguise. Maduro removed. Cuba strangled. Now Iran. Beijing must decide if defending the proxy is worth waking the West up? And the answer keeps being no. Until China’s window to move on Taiwan opens, the pacifist posture that enabled its chokeholds constrains their response to US actions. Everything the US is doing right now is a race to be ready before that moment arrives. Clear the proxies. Arm the allies. Break the chokeholds. And build new ones of its own.

Virginia Democrats Moving to Require Schools to Teach That January 6th Was an ‘Insurrection’
- Abigail Spanberger and other Virginia Democrats ran on a campaign of affordability, but it is becoming ever more clear that this was a lie.
- Since taking power just weeks ago, they have moved to increase and create new taxes on everything from car ownership to dog walking, and they are trying to redistrict Republicans out of existence.
- Now we are learning that they want to require schools to teach that January 6th was an ‘insurrection.’
- It’s all about controlling the narrative.
- Law Professor Jonathan Turley writes at his blog:
Virginia Democrats Move to Require Teaching Jan. 6th as an “Insurrection”
Virginia Democrats are moving to require teachers to tell students that Jan. 6th was an “insurrection” and effectively bar them from referencing “peaceful protests” or election irregularities. The characterization of the riot as an insurrection is historically and legally false. However, any parents who want to send their children to Virginia public schools would have to accept this form of indoctrination as part of their children’s education.

FBI Discovers ‘Suspicious Activities’ on Its Own Networks
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation addressed a cyber incident Thursday, saying that it had discovered “suspicious activities” on its networks.
- “The FBI identified and addressed suspicious activities on FBI networks, and we have leveraged all technical capabilities to respond. We have nothing additional to provide,” the bureau said in a statement, according to CBS News.
- The targeted networks are known as the “digital collection system,” according to sources close to the matter.
- It pointed out that hackers are constantly trying to gain access to the agency’s data, but added it’s rare for such a breach to be publicly acknowledged.
- “It’s not clear whether the latest ‘suspicious activity’ uncovered by the FBI is connected to the serious Salt Typhoon breach attributed to Chinese intelligence that affected a variety of U.S. government networks,” the outlet added.
- “Suspected Chinese hackers are believed to have infiltrated private sector communications providers and targeted national security networks.”
- This news comes just two days after the FBI and Department of Justice announced the dismantling of what it called “one of the world’s largest hacker forums.”
