Supreme Court Rules Biden Administration Must Face False Debt Reporting Lawsuits

  • The U.S. Supreme Court on Feb. 8 rejected an attempt by the Biden administration to avoid a lawsuit stemming from false debt reporting, with the landmark ruling opening the door for consumers to sue federal agencies.
  • In a 9–0 decision on Feb. 8, the Supreme Court ruled that the federal government is not immune from lawsuits brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a law that lets consumers sue creditors for failing to fix false credit information that the consumer has requested be corrected.
  • The ruling stems from a lawsuit brought under the FCRA by Reginald Kirtz, a Pennsylvania man whose credit score was damaged when the Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) Rural Housing Service wrongly stated on his credit report that some of his loans were overdue.
  • The government claimed that it was immune from Mr. Kirtz’s lawsuit and moved to dismiss the case, with several rounds of adjudication in lower courts leading to a request for Supreme Court review.
  • The high court agreed in June 2023 to review an appeals court ruling that allowed Mr. Kirtz to sue the USDA for false debt reporting.
  • “Today’s decision confirms that federal agencies cannot escape accountability when they fail to comply with their responsibilities to consumers under the FCRA,” he said in a Feb. 8 statement.

UPDATE: New York City Police Identify and Arrest Migrant Youth Who Shot Tourist During Robbery in Midtown Manhattan and then Opened Fire on Law Enforcement

 
  • As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, there is a manhunt on for a migrant teen who shot and gravely wounded a tourist in Midtown Manhattan before aiming at law enforcement in New York City Thursday. Now, police have officially identified and arrested the alleged perpetrator.
  •  15-year-old Jesus Alejandro Rivas Figueroa from Venezuela was taken into custody by US Marshals in Yonkers after a nearly day-long manhunt following the shooting. 
  • During a press conference earlier Friday afternoon, NYPD Chief John Chell identified the shooter and noted he resides in a temporary shelter on the Upper West Side. He also said Figueroa is also suspected in a robbery in the Bronx on Jan. 27 and another incident in Manhattan when shots were fired.
  • Rivas Figueroa arrived in the United States in September 2023, but Chell would not say whether he entered illegally.

Judge bars Omaha from enforcing ban on guns in public amid lawsuit

    Sometime the Truth hurts, and for many, this is such a time; Churches lie… (And this is easily proven). Why? Because the Truth is not in them. What is the Truth? The ‘name’ of Almighty God is not Jesus as most churches teach; it is Jehovah; King James Bible; Psalms 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth. – That Holy Name is in the King James Bible 4 times, BUT, it is in the original manuscripts that make up the Bible more than 7,000 times. Why the difference?? The answer to this ‘difference’ explains much about who rules this earth AND who serves that demonic force (Luke 4:1-8). In fact, the ‘name’ Jesus translates as “Jehovah is salvation.” This is why the angel that appeared to Joseph instructed him to name the newly born baby Jesus. This served a double purpose. First, that Jesus would walk in the Holy Name of the Father, and this foreshadowed the preaching work that would also be done in the Holy Name (Jehovah) of the Father as the end of this system of things drew near. The date 1914 is noted in another prophecy as marking the beginning of the end of this system of things and is when Satan was expelled from spiritual Heaven and isolated in the vicinity of the earth. There has been no peace on the earth since 1914. Right now there are 7 armed conflicts with more than 10,000 deaths attributed to the violence and there are also 12 civil wars going on inside nations.
    WHY do the churches lie? In the beginning, to show the pagans of that time why they should join their ‘church.’ To accomplish this they chose to use lies that the pagans believed to attract them. For instance, there are two pagan teachings in particular that should be noted. First, that you have an ‘immortal’ soul that leaves your body at death and will exist forever. But this is what the Bible actually teaches; “soul.” Hebrew, neʹphesh, which literally means “a breathing creature.” If you want a detailed explanation, please ask or email me with your request. The second teaching is that Jesus was hung on a cross. But the Romans NEVER used crosses to put criminals to death; they used an upright stake; in other words, ‘a torture stake.’ Go ahead and goggle this question; ‘Did the Romans ever use crosses to execute prisoners?’ No, you will learn, they did not. But the cross was highly regarded by the pagan worshippers of that time.

    In this, the time of the end of Satan’s rule over the earth, it is our responsibility to learn the Truth and put the Truth into actions in our hearts and lives. John 17:17 Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth. – You are sanctified when you put into action in your life what you learn from the Bible. What is the first lesson? Obedience. Why did Adam die? Who is NOW our ruling king? Jesus, and he gave us commands that we must follow if we are to live through the Great Tribulation, which is very close.
