Scott Kesterson aka Bards is a professional podcaster, documentary filmmaker and sound engineer. His podcast channel is is known as BardsFM and can be found on YouTube, Podbean, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts.
Scott served in the Oregon Army National Guard from 1983-1991, and was later contracted with Department of Defense from 2009 to 2016. He has spent over 3.5 years in Afghanistan working as both a backpack journalist and in support of Joint Special Operations Teams.
Scott’s work has centered around storytelling. During his 3.5 years in Afghanistan he spent most of his time at the village level engaging with both friendly and malign actors in support of Special Operations teams. Through his study of narratives and use of visual storytelling, Scott helped foster understanding and build stability. Scott was awarded an Emmy in 2007 for his media shorts. His documentary Bards of War: Fighting Is Everything, which he filmed in 2006, was edited and produced by him and was released under his own label in 2019.
Scott is currently working on a second film on Afghanistan, a new book and an audio series for homeschoolers to teach American History… these are all targeted to be released by the end of 2021. All of this will eventually be part of the soon to be launched Bards Basecamp, a new independent platform on secure servers to support free speech and sovereignty of information for Patriots worldwide.

I encountered corruption flowing forward from the district court in Memphis to the sixth circuit court of appeals. Denied my right to be heard I wrote a book: Illegal Foreclosure, Title Theft, and its Chain of Corruption: How America’s banks are stealing private property and feeding homes to the securities market. This is a socialist agenda to undermine private property rights. To build absentee landlordism even by China. Only after I published four complaints of judicial misconduct in my book did the corrupt magistrate judge at the district court “retire.” Related or not… three other employees at the sixth circuit are gone. I would so welcome an opportunity to describe this corruption and how people are being harmed. Listening to your show today I’m struct with the comments about… losing everything is freeing.
