    I am at offset 11:11 in your presentation. I was not born into wealth. My father was a construction worker raising four sons. I have never had a mortgage, a credit card or any other bank loan. No credit bureau even has any record that I exist. Yet my wife and I live in a $2.5M home on the edge of the Syracuse University campus. We also own two Dodge minivans. It is possible to go through life without any credit record at all. I will tell you that, at the closing for my house, in 1983, the bankers and lawyers went into a panic when I poured $43,900 in cash money greenbacks out of a brown paper grocery bag.

    I had a brother and a cousin who did the same, but they are deceased now and I am not that young either.
