One of President Trumps business failure was because Congress changed tax laws on property investments and many investors when bankrupt because they were investing in a 10 year depreciation that was shutdown immediately and existing investors weren’t protected by grandfathering them into the change. After their screw up the ask Donald Trump to testify in Congress as an expert witness on what went wrong, look it up it was about the same time that Savings and Loans collapsed. That happens when elected officials have no business and ask questions later vs looking at the impact first.
