I sometimes wonder about this channel. For the longest time you used the word “conspiracy” to mean “conspiracy theory”. Illiteracy makes it difficult to take someone seriously.
Another issue: there is a big difference between a fiat currency and a (privately owned) central bank fiat currency. A true, nation or state issued fiat currency could represent a share in the entire underlying economy. Nothing intrinsically wrong with this. Your complete inability to differentiate between the two is concerning.
The only reason for a gold or other asset backed currency is potentially to smooth out inter-currency exchange rates. However the notion of such a currency for a domestic economy is idiotic. It’s stupid. It’s archaic.
What is our currency? Currently it is a promise to pay. Pay what? It used to be gold but now it is essentially a promise to pay in more dollars. It is created by debt. It is ludicrous I agree, but reverting to a gold standard exposes the folly.
Your problem is you don’t have an alternative. You revert to Bitcoin as an option but that too is beyond stupid. The reason is that you cannot explain to people why Bitcoin (or other non-asset backed crypto currencies) have any intrinsic value. They only work if an entire population agrees to use them, and that will never happen.
I value this channel as a source of potential news and information, but truthfully your ongoing discussion of currencies regardless of your lack of knowledge of currency issues is concerning to me.
A fiat currency is the way to go. However, there must be better controls on its issue. This is something that is being worked on by some patriots on an international basis.
