Such areas are normally only accessible to those that work there, and/or have a verifiable need to be there, with the applicable security clearances! Anyone working there or going to such a facility would usually know all of the aforementioned ahead of time, or would be instructed on the SOPs, and where to leave such devices prior to entrance.
