    I have never used Tik Tok yet I worked for 40 years in system development and management. People need to stop worshiping the technology. We the People have become addicted to this unnecessary technology and “convenience” and it has involved intentional psychological programming and “bad parenting” in making you feel dependent on the technology including being distracted and entertained and addicted to the “attention to self” that it creates. I cancelled my Facebook account around 2010. I use my simple cell phone almost exclusively for texting.

    NOTICE that no one is talking about meaningful relationships and what that involves and how we can improve our relationships and our lives. No one is talking about how technology has helped us as people. You are being distracted from real life. You are “Truman” (Jim Carrey role) in the “Truman Show”. Everyone could stop using this technology today and they would go out of “business” – if there is actually a real business model involved as opposed to corrupt financing in the background – and our lives would not be seriously impacted. We wouldn’t be in a “holocaust” from loss of this BS technology. Who is really paying for all of this technology with massive costly infrastructure? It’s not really what it appears to be to us. Technology is a distraction and thus a loss of opportunity in life. It’s the sugar-sweet candy of our generation like the 50’s and 60’s. And drugs of the 60’s and 70’s. And fast foods… and TV/movies …. and Internet…… To create addictions and dependence for our eventual illness and demise.
