  • Ontario is rolling out an energy conservation program that will pay residents with smart thermostats to lower their air conditioning during certain periods in the summer.
  • Residential customers who sign up for the Peak Perks program will receive a $75 prepaid credit card in exchange for giving their smart thermostat manufacturer secure access to the device.
  • There would be up to 10 times during peak periods of electricity consumption between June and September during which their thermostat would be adjusted two to four degrees.

Comer Reveals Tantalizing Tidbits About Biden ‘Bribery’ Form, Contempt Coming for Wray
  • House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer has dropped some tantalizing tidbits about the FD-1023 Biden “bribery” form that a whistleblower has revealed the FBI has. The form allegedly says that there was an exchange of money with a foreign national for Biden to make certain policy decisions — that’s why it’s being referred to as a “bribery form” and could be a huge smoking gun.
  • On May 3, the Committee issued a subpoena for “all FD-1023 forms” created or modified in June 2020 containing the term “Biden” and including any accompanying documents and attachments.

 

  • The FBI was supposed to turn over the document on May 10. But the FBI has been stonewalling about turning over the form, as we have reported. Even House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) had to lean on FBI Director Christopher Wray to turn over the document.
  • But one of the things that they discovered in this process was that the FBI said they needed to narrow their request still more — because there were too many pertinent documents for “Biden” and “June 2020.”

There was only one substantive comment regarding the subpoena Despite the Committee’s subpoena being narrowly tailored to June 2020, FBI staff indicated that the search terms were broad because there were many responsive documents containing the term “Biden” in its CHS database for that month.

  • In Comer’s words, that’s “alarming,” to say the least. Why are there so many forms pertaining to “Biden” in just that month? Despite the FBI’s stall tactics, Comer narrowed down the request to “June 30, 2020” and “five million,” which was the bribery amount. Comer also took another shot at the fact that there were so many forms pertaining to “Biden.”
  •  Comer is now giving Wray until May 30. He said that if they do not receive the form by then, he will proceed with contempt proceedings. That’s next Tuesday, so Wray doesn’t have a lot of time.
  • Now, the details that Comer revealed about the amount of money and the date are intriguing.  

In a remarkable coincidence, Ukrainian officials held a press conference in Kyiv on June 13, 2020 — 17 days before the FBI tipoff — where they showed off $5 million in cash allegedly offered as a bribe to end an investigation of natural gas company Burisma’s founder Mykola Zlochevsky.

Burisma employed first son Hunter Biden from 2014 to 2019 and an executive from the firm met Vice President Biden at an April 16, 2015, dinner in Washington.

The cash seized by Ukrainian officials in 2020 was paid in American $100 bills that were put on display — and matches the amount that Joe Biden allegedly received years earlier.

  • In the same timeframe during which the Durham report was released, we also saw a report released on the FBI FISA abuses.  We are supposed to be happy that only 278,000 unauthorized (illegal) warrantless searches occurred in 2020 and accept that the FBI has resolved this situation.
  •   Democrat operatives had direct access to an FBI portal, and we know that someone was running warrantless searches on Americans.  According to the information supplied, the 278,000 illegal, warrantless searches occurred between 2016 and 2020 and would seem to overlap with the Perkins Coie law firm having access to the FBI portal during the 2020 presidential election cycle.
  • Hmmmm.  Have we been provided with information on who ran those searches?  How many of the warrantless searches were run outside FBI offices on portals like the one at Perkins Coie?  Did Perkins Coie run any illegal searches through their portal?

  • In a lengthy interview with Konstantin Dolgov, a political operative and pro-war blogger, Prigozhin, the founder and leader of the Wagner mercenary group, also asserted that the war has backfired spectacularly by failing to “demilitarize” Ukraine, one of President Vladimir Putin’s stated aims of the invasion. He also called for totalitarian policies.

  • A new federally funded study reveals that children aged 12 to 17 who received Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine face an increased risk of heart inflammation, specifically myocarditis and pericarditis. The study, conducted by researchers from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), found that the number of cases among vaccinated children met the threshold for a safety signal, raising concerns about the vaccine’s potential side effects.
  • These findings add to the growing body of evidence linking the vaccine to heart conditions in young individuals, sparking calls for further research and heightened vigilance regarding the safety of COVID-19 vaccines for pediatric populations.

U.S. warns China could hack infrastructure, including pipelines, rail systems

  •  The U.S. State Department warned on Thursday that China was capable of launching cyber attacks against critical infrastructure, including oil and gas pipelines and rail systems, after researchers discovered a Chinese hacking group had been spying on such networks.
  • A multi-nation alert issued Wednesday revealed the Chinese cyber-espionage campaign had been aimed at military and government targets in the United States.

  • Microsoft analysts who identified the campaign, which they dubbed Volt Typhoon, said it “could disrupt critical communications infrastructure between the United States and Asia region during future crises” – a nod to escalating U.S.-China tensions over Taiwan and other issues.
  • “The U.S. intelligence community assesses that China almost certainly is capable of launching cyberattacks that could disrupt critical infrastructure services within the United States, including against oil and gas pipelines and rail systems,” State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a press briefing.
