  • When the Constitution took effect in 1789, the first order of business was to straighten out the nation’s disastrous financial situation. That is why the new State Department started out with only five employees while the Treasury Department had 40.
  • When Alexander Hamilton became the nation’s first Secretary of the Treasury, he immediately began to prepare a schedule of tariffs, along with excise taxes on such commodities as alcohol and tobacco. The Constitution forbids taxing the exports of any state, and so American tariffs have always been laid only on imports.
  • Collectors were named for each port, and these were considered plum jobs because the collector got to keep the money, earning interest on it, until it was forwarded to the federal government a few times a year.
  • Hamilton’s tariffs, along with the refunding of the national debt and the establishment of a central bank, transformed the American financial situation. By the end of the 1790s, the U.S. had the best credit rating in Europe, its bonds selling over par. By 1800, federal revenues, a mere $3.7 million in 1792, had nearly tripled to $10.8 million. About 90 percent of that revenue came from tariffs—a ratio that wouldn’t change much, except during the Civil War, for more than a century.

  • A Democrat mayor in Georgia has been arrested for child molestation, and his wife was also arrested and charged with cruelty to children.
  • Joseph Kelly, 38, the mayor of the City of Climax and a Decatur County School District employee, was charged with two counts of child molestation. Natalie Kelly, 44, was charged with two counts of cruelty to children in the second degree.
  • According to the school district’s website, he is a math teacher at Bainbridge High School. It is unclear if he remains employed there.

  • The United States will scale down its military presence in Syria to one base from eight and U.S. policies will shift in the country “because none of them worked” over the last century, the new U.S. special envoy has said.
  • Thomas Barrack, who President Donald Trump named special envoy last month shortly after he unexpectedly lifted U.S. sanctions on Syria, made the comments in an interview with Turkish broadcaster NTV late on Monday.
  • The U.S. military has about 2,000 U.S. troops in Syria, mostly in the northeast. They are working with local forces to prevent a resurgence of Islamic State, which in 2014 seized large swathes of Iraq and Syria but was later pushed back.
  • Since rebels ousted Syria’s former President Bashar al-Assad in December, the United States and other countries are re-engaging with Damascus under new leader Ahmed al-Sharaa.
  • When asked how the Trump administration will shape its Syria policy and whether the U.S. is considering troop withdrawal from Syria, Barrack said: “What I can assure you is that our current Syria policy will not be close to the Syria policy of the last 100 years, because none of these have worked.”

President Trump’s Plan

This “prohibited access” function essentially gave Deep State agents the ability to cover up information about any case they wanted. In addition, we just got confirmation from a memo from Senator Grassely, that this function was used by the Mueller Special Counsel during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, meaning they were covering something up.

So let’s say a good FBI agent wanted to search the FBI database for information related to “Epstein” for example. This prohibited access function would render a false-negative, and not populate the results of what it is you were looking for. It might populate some, but not ALL. Files were able to be hidden from search results in the database using this function.

Why is this important? Because sources close to the situation tell me that this is the reason there are “delays” in the release of full information about a wide variety of topics. Much of it is still being hidden, and cannot be looked up electronically, but they are finding more information.

The Deep State built in many failsafes in an attempt to prevent the incoming Trump administration from finding what they don’t want to be found.

Bondi, Kash, Bongino, and the rest of the Trump faithful, are operating in a hostile environment, while trying to clean house at the same time. There is a shadow war going on, and we only see the surface.
