French president Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky were caught in a hot mic moment at the G7 Summit.

  • The two appeared to be discussing whether Zelensky would meet with President Donald Trump, among other things.
  • After the leaders exchanged greetings, Macron asked the Ukrainian leader how long he would be in France for the G7 conference.
  • Zelensky appeared to say that he would only be able to stay one more full day, as he had to travel to Brussels on Thursday.
  • Then Macron asked if Zelensky had a ‘bilateral [unintelligible] being organized’.
  • ‘With President Trump?’ Zelensky answered.
  • Tantalizingly, the chiefs of state spoke quietly for over twenty seconds before Macron rejoined more audibly, ‘Okay, we’ll arrange that.’
  • The two may have been trying to avoid being overheard.
  • Then Macron mentioned an upcoming G7 meeting before he and Zelensky again lowered their voices. Both leaders met with the President later on Tuesday.

  • In yet another display of its ongoing war on Christian faith, Major League Baseball has issued an official warning to three San Francisco Giants pitchers who dared to write Bible verses on their Pride Night caps.
  • And by ‘warning’ we mean threat, because what follows a warning in sports? Most likely a fine. Or, you know, as per Rule 3.03 of the official MLB Rulebook, a non-conforming player can be barred from participating in the game.
  • While the league under Commissioner Rob Manfred eagerly green-lights rainbow alterations and perpetually bows to the LGBT alphabet mafia, it is drawing a firm line at players subtly referencing God’s word.

The Department of Justice filed a superseding indictment against the SPLC accusing it of funneling donor cash to hate groups they were then telling donors they were fighting.

One figure, referred to as “Employee-2” in the indictment, is described as a “person who would become Director of the SPLC’s Intelligence Project.”

It also describes how “Employee-2” wrote an article based on material stolen from National Alliance headquarters in 2014 and then paid off an informant to take the blame for the robbery.

Based on the details in the June 2 superseding indictment, “Employee-2” is believed to be Heidi Beirich, a 58-year-old fascism

The indictment alleges Beirich was very close to the informant known only as “F-9” who “infiltrated the neo-Nazi organization National Alliance.”

“[Beirich] was also in a romantic relationship with F-9. During this relationship, [Beirich] and F-9 shared a house and two bank accounts,” the indictment alleges.

“Between 2015 and 2021, approximately $140,000 in donors’ money flowed from the SPLC operating account … and was ultimately deposited into the joint bank accounts held by F-9 and [Beirich].

It’s also not surprising that Newsom’s having his taxpayer-funded attorney make a baseless request. There are multiple exemptions that would almost certainly apply in this case, where, according to Newsom himself, there is an ongoing criminal investigation involving a grand jury, including Exemption 5 (Deliberative Process, Attorney Work Product, and Attorney-Client Privilege) and 7A (Interference with Enforcement Proceedings). In addition, any communications referencing possible confidential informants fall under a statutory exclusion, meaning that the DOJ isn’t required to acknowledge that such communications even exist.

The only thing Newsom is attempting to accomplish here is reverse lawfare, or tying up DOJ resources in a “the process is the punishment”-style. Come after him, he’s saying, but I’m going to make it as tedious as possible.

As usual, Newsom’s love of transparency only goes one way. Back in March 2025, when Fox News’ Los Angeles affiliate submitted a California Public Records Act request for “emails and text messages to and from LA County and LA City officials in the days leading up to and after the fires,” they were told that his office “would not be providing those and that the governor’s communications are exempt.”

However, Newsom’s email and text communications, whether from official devices/accounts or personal devices/accounts, are public records and are not exempt from disclosure.

California Government Code Section 7920.530 defines a public record:

(a) As used in this division, “public records” includes any writing containing information relating to the conduct of the public’s business prepared, owned, used, or retained by any state or local agency regardless of physical form or characteristics.

(b) “Public records” in the custody of, or maintained by, the Governor’s office means any writing prepared on or after January 6, 1975.

According to officials, the alleged plan involved using explosive-laden drones to strike buildings near the event, triggering a mass evacuation and funneling crowds toward a pre-positioned sniper team. The Federal Bureau of Investigation said it first learned of the threat on June 10 and worked with federal, state and local partners to secure arrests and gather evidence across multiple states.

Authorities said one suspect was arrested in Cincinnati, while investigators later uncovered Signal chat groups in which participants allegedly discussed operational planning for the attack. Officials said an initial review of a suspect’s phone identified at least 23 users allegedly involved in planning discussions.

Some participants reportedly intended to travel to Fredericksburg in the days leading up to the event to prepare for the operation.

According to investigators, one suspect described potential targets as “capitalist elites,” billionaires, or politicians who had received support from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The investigation spanned at least 12 FBI field offices.

FBI Director Kash Patel praised law enforcement agencies for acting quickly to stop the alleged attack.

“Thanks to the rapid action of this FBI, our partners, and the Department of Justice in a multi-state operation, multiple individuals are now in custody and allegedly planned attacks were stopped cold,” Patel said.

Patel added that the case demonstrates the bureau’s ability to identify and disrupt threats before they can be carried out.

The alleged target, UFC Freedom 250, was held Sunday on the White House South Lawn as part of celebrations surrounding President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and America’s upcoming 250th anniversary. The event drew roughly 4,300 attendees, including about 1,200 active-duty service members.

Officials say the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges or arrests could follow as authorities continue reviewing evidence and communications connected to the alleged network.
