Another Myth Busted: Latest Report Reveals 30 Year Drop in Hurricane Frequency and Power
- A new study found that there has been a 30-year drop in hurricane frequency and power.
- This is a major blow to the junk scientists pushing to ban fossil fuels.

A new report published in Nature in December found a 30-year drop in cyclone (hurricane) frequency and power.
Nature reported:
- A Biden administration ban on certain natural gas water heaters as part of the lame duck president’s climate agenda could send prices soaring for the elderly and the poor.
- Under the policy, new non-condensing, natural gas-fired water heaters will be prohibited for sale starting in 2029 due to concerns about carbon-dioxide emissions. .
- If the policy takes effect, as it is slated to on March 11, a little less than 40% of the tankless water heaters currently on the market would be banned, according to an estimate from the Appliance Standards Awareness Project.

Established in 1953, this act gives the United States jurisdiction over submerged lands beyond state coastal waters and allows the federal government to lease offshore resources.
- Biden’s ban will put a permanent halt to offshoring drilling in all federal waters off the East and West coasts, the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and portions of the northern Bering Sea in Alaska. The Western Gulf of Mexico, where drilling is already happening, would still be permitted to drill.
- Biden released a statement arguing that allowing more offshore drilling would result in ‘irreversible’ environmental damage and he has no choice but to protect the coasts for ‘our children and grandchildren.’
- But unlike traditional executive actions, Trump will face an arduous process in trying to override Biden’s latest act of sabotage. A 2019 court ruling states that Presidents do not have the authority to overturn prior bans issued under The Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act.
