  • A man who was arrested after being caught on video shoving a conservative journalist to the ground at an anti-ICE riot Saturday was found guilty of defrauding Minnesota’s unemployment program of almost $7,000 more than 20 years ago, court documents show.
  • Ostroushko, who was born in 1975 according to a court document, was in his late 20s at the time the unemployment fraud took place. He ultimately received a stay of execution on his sentencing and was discharged from probation after less than two years according to the signed document dated March 2007.

  • Having one a two-thirds supermajority in the Hungarian Parliament in Sunday’s elections, Magyar will likely have the votes needed to amend the constitution to impose such limits.
  • Crucially, the likely incoming PM said that the change to the law would be retroactive, meaning that it would prevent outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán from seeking another term in office.

  • Orbán had functioned as a structural brake on EU Ukraine policy. For more than a year, joint EU summit communiqués on Ukraine carried an asterisk noting the position “was firmly supported by 26 heads of state or government” rather than all 27, because Orbán refused to sign any statement backing Kyiv.
