  • The EU will not respond to Johnson’s alleged request for an extension until Friday. Several things are in play.
  • Once again, any extension must be unanimous.  
  • Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn met with Boris Johnson today, on an election timetable. As you might have expected, nothing was agreed upon.   
  • The key concept is that a delay until January solves nothing. In fact, it increases the odds of No Deal.
  • Johnson can request one. It will most likely be voted down.
  • He could pass a one-line bill demanding one. That would only take 50% and it would pass.

  • Ratification of the USMCA would be a boost for the U.S, and North American, economy.  More growth in the economy is politically adverse to her interests.  Part of the 2020 Democrat strategy is to stall the U.S. economy, stoke a recession narrative, and hopefully weaken President Trump’s re-election bid.  That’s the plan.

Trudeau set to face questions for first time since winning minority government

  • Trudeau lost his majority government when voters reduced the Liberals from 177 seats in the House of Commons to 157.
  • Although Trudeau holds more seats than any other party, he will still need the support of at least one other party in order to pass any legislation and maintain the confidence of the majority of the House of Commons.

But in fact, word of the aid freeze had gotten to high-level Ukrainian officials by the first week in August, according to interviews and documents obtained by The New York Times.

But the Ukranian President said he didn’t know it was frozen and this is who Trump spoke to.

The [DS] they are trying to keep this fake impeachment going as long as possible, it is falling apart right in front of their eyes and they can’t do anything about it, this is all being done in secret, behind closed doors with congress involved, with no vote and leaking what they want to the press.

2. Public, transparent hearing the game would be over

3. Secret hearings, that keeps the show going, they will try to use it to counter the IG FISA report and declas

4. [DS] plan has already failed

So the GOP lawmakers decided enough is enough they should be involved in the hearing, this should be transparent, the public should be able to see it all, the whistleblower identity should be revealed.

  • Boy howdy, this   Imaad Zuberi, a 49-year-old resident of Arcadia, California, has agreed to plead guilty to a variety of illegal activities surrounding campaign contributions, political influence, and unregistered lobbying on behalf of foreign clients.  Mr. Zuberi was under DOJ, FBI and IRS investigation since 2015, DOJ announcement is alarming on many levels.

Zuberi is charged in a criminal information with tax evasion and making almost $1 million in illegal campaign contributions that included funneling money from foreign entities and individuals to influence U.S. elections.

 This is where it gets interesting.  The DOJ and FBI were investigating Mr. Zuberi since 2014 and 2015, but for some reason the Obama administration never brought charges.  One could argue Zuberi was just participating in a financial process that was business as usual for politicians in the swamp.
