  • A farmer was ‘bribed’ with a trip to a strip club if he agreed to having a giant wind turbine on his land, it has been claimed.
  • Officials from a major green energy company are trying to persuade landowners in Wales to sign up for wind generators and pylons by offering them financial incentives.
  • But a council meeting heard one was offered money and a night out at a lap dancing club.
  • The claims were made at an Extraordinary Meeting of Nelson Community Council near Caerphilly, South Wales, to discuss anger over attempts by Bute Energy to install controversial green power schemes in the Welsh countryside.
  • The minutes of the meeting, to discuss controversial new power installations, state: ‘A local resident was offered cash and a night out at a lap dancing club.’
  • The Scotland based Bute Energy denied the lap dance allegation, calling it an ‘absurd’ suggestion.

  • A report from Fox News bluntly warns Biden “doesn’t appear to have a plan to begin” monitoring that issue.
  • It reports that a document assembled by the Government Accountability Office revealed the Department of Agriculture has failed to share timely information about what foreigners are buying what land, even though that’s required under the 1978 Agricultural Foreign Investment Disclosure Act.
  • “Sharing current data could help increase visibility into potential national security risks related to foreign investments in U.S. agricultural land,” explained the GAO. “USDA implements AFIDA across field offices and headquarters, but its processes to collect, track, and report key information are flawed.”
  • Some details, in fact, are collected on “paper forms,” but there’s no agenda for any database.

Maersk Warns “Significant Disruptions To Global Shipping Network” As Red Sea Attacks Persist 

  •   top container shipper AP Moller-Maersk sent a memo to customers, warning how the global shipping network is fracturing because of the elevated risks in the Red Sea:
  • “While we hope for a sustainable resolution in the near-future and do all we can to contribute towards it, we do encourage customers to prepare for complications in the area to persist and for there to be significant disruption to the global network.” 
  • Major shipping companies like Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd have diverted hundreds of vessels on lengthier and costlier routes around the Cape of Good Hope to avoid Houthi rebels. Shell was the latest company to suspend all Red Sea shipments earlier this week.
  • Maersk CEO Vincent Clerc told Reuters on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday that global shipping networks will be disrupted for at least a few months:

“So for us this will mean longer transit times and probably disruptions of the supply chain for a few months at least, hopefully shorter, but it could also be longer because it’s so unpredictable how this situation is actually developing.”

The number of people falling behind on their credit card bills increased in 49 of the 50 states last year, a sobering new report reveals.

As inflation took its toll on household budgets, Americans in their millions became delinquent on credit card debt – with some states much more badly affected than others.

According to analysis by WalletHub, the number of borrowers struggling to keep on track of their credit card bills has risen the fastest in Oregon. Between September 2022 and September 2023, delinquencies in the state soared by 51 percent.

  • Delinquency rates on all forms of credit have been steadily rising from coast to coast.
  • For example, Macy’s just announced that it will be laying off a total of 2,350 workers…

Department store chain Macy’s is planning to lay off about 13% of its corporate staff and close five stores in an effort to trim costs and redirect spending to improve the customer experience.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the news on Thursday, adding that the job cuts will total about 2,350 positions, or about 3.5% of Macy’s overall workforce excluding seasonal hires.

Wayfair is cutting 13% of its global workforce oon.

  • The following Friday, January 19th, an attorney for Biden filed a motion to dismiss the petition. Concerned citizens Terry Newsome, Shane Bouvet, Peggy Hubbard, and Timothy Conrad are listed as the objectors. Newsome is a parental rights activist and hosts a Podcast called “Behind Enemy Lines.” Newsome maintains that Biden has violated the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution, specifically section 3 of that amendment. The assertion is that Joe Biden has violated the amendment as President of the United States in that he has given, “…aid and comfort to the enemies thereof.”

REPORT: ‘Zuckbucks’ Group is Planning to Meddle in the 2024 Election

  • As you may recall, during the 2020 election, left wing groups used millions in ‘Zuckbucks’ to take control of local polling offices. Everyone concedes that this made a difference in the election, including people on the left. They admitted it in a Time Magazine article about how they ‘fortified’ the 2020 election.
