Biden Admin Greenlights ‘Massive’ New Jersey Offshore Wind Project Despite Rising Costs
- The Biden administration approved a major offshore wind project off the coast of New Jersey despite the technology’s high costs.
- Subsidized offshore wind energy prices have risen by an estimated 48% since 2021, according to Bloomberg.
- “It is abundantly clear that New Jersey’s massive industrialized offshore wind projects will not only have tremendous environmental, navigational, economic and national security implications, but also require an endless stream of US taxpayer subsidies to try to keep these foreign-run projects afloat,” Republican Rep. Chris Smith of New Jersey said in a Friday press release.
- Offshore wind energy is 3.4 times as costly as power generated by a natural gas combined cycle plant,
- The environmental benefit of electric cars may never be felt – with their production creating up to 70 per cent more emissions than their petrol equivalent.
- Electric cars need to be used for tens of thousands of miles before they offset the higher releases, with VW’s e-Golf becoming more environmentally friendly only after 77,000 miles, according to the manufacturer’s own figures.
- But there are fears that many such vehicles will never hit their mileage target as owners upgrade to newer models, leaving swathes of used electric cars sitting unwanted on garage forecourts.
- The vast majority of car purchases in the UK are made using credit plans, which offer customers the chance to swap their car for a new vehicle after a three-year term, which is unlikely to be enough time to offset the emissions.
- Volvo revealed in 2021 that the emission from the production of electric cars can be up to 70 per cent higher than petrol models and said it would require between 30,000 and 68,400 miles for an EV to become greener overall, which typically takes four to nine years.

- The poll asked respondents, “How would you describe the nation’s economy these days?”
- Only 30 percent said Biden’s economy is good, while 69 percent said it is poor. One percent said, “Neither good nor poor.”
- In addition, the poll found only 34 percent approved of Biden’s management of the economy. A majority (64 percent) said they disapproved.
- Biden also received poor marks among Democrats. Only 60 percent of Democrats approved of his economy. Thirty-nine percent disapproved.
- Younger Democrats were more likely to disapprove of Biden’s economy than older Democrats. Sixty-eight percent of younger Democrats described the economy as poor, compared with 39 percent of Democrats age 45 and older.
- Among independents, Biden’s rating on the economy was worse. Sixty-four percent disapproved, while only 34 percent approved.

White House Cocaine Story Evolves Again, ‘Unlikely’ Culprit Will Be Found
- The mystery of the cocaine found at the White House continues.
- the story has already changed multiple times as reported by the media. First, it was “near the White House.” Then it was on the “White House complex.” Then it was reported it was found in the library.
- But then on Tuesday, July 4th, when most Americans were likely not following the news, we heard that it was in a “work area” in the West Wing, that it was in a “baggie,” not loose or concealed. We were told by the Secret Service that, despite reports of first responders saying it was found in the library, that wasn’t the case.
The substance was found in a common area of the West Wing, which houses the Oval Office and offices of some of the president’s top aides and support staff. A senior law enforcement official told CBS News the substance was found in a storage facility in a cubby routinely used by White House staff and guests to store cellphones.

- Black Lives Matter is now responding to the shooting, and the organization is blaming conservatives for perpetrating “violence” by posting pictures of Carriker in women’s clothing. Further, one of the activists who spoke at the presser claimed that Carriker is not actually transgender.
This may be the fastest detransition in history.
- The claim that Carriker isn’t transgender seems more like a carefully planned bout of virtue signaling than a statement of truth. The shooter’s birth name is almost certainly not “Kimbrady.” That’s the kind of name you’d expect from someone who “transitions.” Further, he’s clearly cross-dressing in a way that would evidence him identifying as transgender and not just a performer or some such.
- the rush to blame conservatives for pointing out circumstances that BLM and far-left trans activists don’t want to admit to is ridiculous. There is no “violence” being perpetrated by noting who Carriker is. The violence was committed when he killed five people and wounded several others. That should be the focus.
