The Fed Chair was the supporting act at the world’s most important economic meeting.
But the priorities are the real story. Bessent told the G20 that economic growth would come from private enterprise not government spending, not central bank stimulus.
He said the United States would modernize financial regulation by streamlining rules and reducing burdens. He said the G20 would confront global trade imbalances. He said sovereign debt restructuring for emerging markets would be made faster and more transparent.
And he announced “Trump Accounts” financial literacy programs so that working families can, as he put it, “understand what a piece of the action feels like.” Growth through private markets.
Regulation streamlined. Trade imbalances confronted. Sovereign debt restructured. Financial literacy for working families. Every priority belongs to Treasury. Not one belongs to the Federal Reserve.
Then Bessent closed with the line that should have been the headline. “I want to thank the EU and the ECB for their strong statement of support for our economic operations against the Iranian regime, and together this group will end this 47-year horrendous reign that they have had.” Read that again.
The Treasury Secretary of the United States, at a finance ministers’ meeting, declared that the G20 would collectively end the Iranian regime. Not at a United Nations Security Council session.
Not at a NATO summit. Not at a defense ministers’ conference. At a meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors. A meeting about money. Because money is how you end regimes now. Operation Economic Outcast launched four days earlier. The largest Iran sanctions package in history. UAE banks targeted. An Egyptian bank’s operations severed from the dollar system.
A Hong Kong front company designated. And now the Treasury Secretary is standing at the G20 telling the room which includes China, Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Turkey that the economic operation will end a 47-year regime. That means the dollar system and the euro system are aligned against Iran’s financial infrastructure the two reserve currencies acting in concert. And the Fed Chair? The Fed Chair said it was a privilege to be there. He talked about secular stagnation being over and a global investment surge underway.
He spoke for three minutes and sat down. The Treasury Secretary ran the room.
The Fed Chair was grateful to be in it. And the world’s finance ministers heard the United States declare, through its Treasury, that the financial architecture would be used to end a government that has stood for 47 years.

- Homeland Security Investigations, ICE’s investigative arm, will launch what officials are calling a ‘coordinated criminal voter fraud surge initiative to pursue investigative leads, conduct field interviews, and support timely prosecutorial review.’
- Agents will be authorized to pursue investigative leads through mid-October — right as the midterm election season gets underway.
- Today’s news comes after DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin previously stated 250,000+ noncitizens were found on voter rolls in four states.
- Through preliminary reviews of the four states’ records, DHS found that there may be as many as:
- 190,832 non-citizens registered to vote in California.
- 35,152 non-citizens registered to vote in New Jersey.
- 15,903 non-citizens registered to vote in Nevada.
- 14,576 non-citizens registered to vote in Pennsylvania.

House to be less secure for some reason. The question that still has yet to be answered, is what are the Dems so afraid of? Why are they so upset about this Military complex? Why don’t they want the President to be secure? What do they know that we don’t? Something tells me we will find out when it’s finished, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s finished way ahead of schedule.
I think the podcasters and media misjudged the moment. They were thinking it would be another Trump bump for the anti Trump media in Trump 2.0, but instead it's been the reverse as people flee these anti Trump voices.
