Painter seems to be William Henry Dethlef Koerner. Can’t find that picture online but saw that someone sees the men as sluicing for gold. That works!!

While I was unable to find the name of the painting in the Judy Shelton tweet, the artist’s name is Wilhelm Heinrich Dethlef Koerner (see Wikipedia for additional spellings and nickname). Interesting to note that Koerner created illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post (clue?).

    Dave,
Longtime listener and on your email list. I heard your announcement about Paypal. If you need a payment gateway to do one-time or recurring donations my company does just that. We are small and under the radar but we have many satisfied clients. I know this seems like a pitch, but I just want to see you be able to continue to be supported. You can contact me at the email below and I will give you links where you can look at our website and see what we do.

December 24th, the picture reminds me of a movie I watched (bad with names) Was a sort of love story/war story of a women/spy/soldier (attractive blonde actress with a true English accent) from England. She parachuted into France where she also fell in love. There is a scene where she is waiting for Intel from a male spy, the scene is much like the picture JS posted.
