If our government institutes a CBDC I would assume they will mandate Social Security, paychecks and pensions, etc. will have to be deposited into your CBDC account. They have already set up a digital account for everyone and they will control it. With that said, they could easily prevent people from purchasing crypto currency, precious metals, you name it.
