Many are watching and waiting on the U.S. Supreme today. In its conference, the Court will decide whether the cases from GA, Michigan, and Pennsylvania will proceed.
If the Court says NO, we will know the majority of the Court is corrupt. The cases are based on established, black letter law. The elections in those states were illegal and unconstitutional. They changed the election rules without approval of the state legislatures.
If the Court decides the cases will proceed, we will not know for sure if a majority of the Court is corrupt until final decisions are issued which could take months. Remember the decision in Obamacare?
Maybe the Court will allow the cases to proceed and buy time before the corrupt justices are exposed.
If the majority in the Court is not corrupt, a ruling should be issued today in Pennsylvania case. GA and Michigan should have cert granted with a reversal and remand to follow law in Pennsylvania case.
We are going to learn a great deal about the majority of our Supreme Court justices today whatever the rulings may be.

So this is my warning to proof of work (BTC) and proof of stake (ETH) holders/ miners. The main three points I want to compare to distributed ledger are Verification Method, Performance, & CBDC.
Verification by proof of work and proof of stake is a mining process vs a Quantum Byzantine Distributed Ledger. Since the inception of BTC other countries have been preparing. China specifically built 3 massive mining farms that far dwarf most other competition. Over 60% some say as high as 80% of the world’s total mining capacity. Those 3 mining farms are currently owned by separate companies which is the excuse of the CCP when asked if it would capitalize(LOL). Undoubtedly they showed us time and time again CCP cannot be trusted with the economy of the world. They will manipulate the benefit of China every time. Besides a lot of people bought into this notion of decentralization. Because of the constant threat of a 51% attack which is obviously easily obtainable, it is NOT decentralized.

Not to mention the performance. It’s abysmal with most of the top proof of work and proof of stake tokens. I don’t know how anyone who professes to be environmentally conscious could even begin to mine crypto. For example, for every 1 million transactions, Distributed ledger could power 79,000 lightbulb hours. In contrast, for every 1M transactions, proof of work could power 4.51 billion lightbulb hours. This means that the energy consumption of Distributed ledger Is 57,000x more efficient. Also mainstream adoption and use is prevented by scalability. For example proof of work at peak traffic can take days if not weeks, whereas distributed ledger has been tested and proven at over 1500 transactions a second. The fees are also becoming astronomical and unsustainable when most distributor ledger protocols are very cheap even at scale, ripe for mass adoption. For example a quick search and you can find people complaining everywhere about it taking $20-30 to send $10 or even worse.
CBDC Central Bank Digital Currency’s.. They are coming, it’s inevitable at this point. Many countries have already announced and understandably because of its reserve status the dollar will be one of if not the last to go. To think that the governments of the world would not research and know how far the CCP was ahead is naive. In reverse to think that governments would ever completely concede control of the monetary system to any completely decentralized party is naive. That is why most distributed letter protocols have been working with regulators and going after Swift, most banks current archaic monetary transfer system. Any country building a CBDC on a proof of work or proof of stake minable token would essentially be handing complete control of their monetary system over to China. It’s not going to happen and they’ve already started to figure this out and are getting a line to be converted to distribute ledger protocol.
In closing I hope you can see why in my opinion, POW & POS are a scary investment at a time when distributed ledger protocols are having such headwinds. As of right now it basically consists of two coins XRP and XLM (maybe ADA and NANO don’t know much about them). I personally believe FXRP when it arrives will be the top defi platform. The biggest chance for true adoption seemingly would follow that path of least resistance.
