- The Walt Disney Co. went woke and now it is paying the consequences, with employees bracing for a bloodbath.
- Executives are expecting CEO Bob Iger to announce drastic cost cuts — including layoffs that could number in the thousands — when the company reports quarterly earnings on Wednesday, according to a Business Insider report. The cuts come amid Iger’s ongoing corporate restructuring following a disastrous 2022 that saw company profits tank and its stock plummet 44 percent.
- Disney is also facing a nasty proxy fight from pro-Trump billionaire Nelson Peltz, whose Trian Fund Management owns more than 9 million shares of the company. Peltz is angling for a seat on the Disney board, looking to replace Michael Froman, a veteran of the Clinton and Obama administrations.

FACT CHECK: Biden Claims He Capped Insulin Costs for Medicare Enrollees
- CLAIM: President Joe Biden claimed during Tuesday’s State of the Union that the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act put a monthly cap 0f $35 on insulin costs for Medicare enrollees.
- VERDICT: Misleading.
- Biden noted that this cap was part of the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act, which went into effect on January 1 year after being passed by Congress and signed into law earlier in his presidency.
- But former President Donald Trump’s administration actually struck a deal with insulin manufacturers and healthcare providers to drastically reduce the cost of insulin for American seniors who relied on Medicare during his presidency — and before Biden took office.
- However, in Biden’s first week in office, Biden’s administration announced a Regulatory Freeze Pending Review, which froze some of the new regulations signed by Trump, including the one to reduce the cost of insulin.

- On Wednesday, a bombshell report revealed that President Joe Biden personally oversaw a secret mission in which specialized U.S. Navy dive crews bombed the underwater Nord Stream pipelines, according to Daily Mail and Seymour Substack.The report claimed that in June of 2022, Navy divers planted C4 explosives on three Nord Stream pipes, and three months later, they were detonated by a sonar buoy that emitted a signal that triggered the bombs.“The best divers with deep diving qualifications are a tight community, and only the very best are recruited for the operation and told to be prepared to be summoned to the CIA in Washington,” the source told Seymour Hersch.
- Last June, the Navy divers, operating under the cover of a widely publicized mid-summer NATO exercise known as BALTOPS 22, planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines, according to a source with direct knowledge of the operational planning.
- Two of the pipelines, which were known collectively as Nord Stream 1, had been providing Germany and much of Western Europe with cheap Russian natural gas for more than a decade. A second pair of pipelines, called Nord Stream 2, had been built but were not yet operational. Now, with Russian troops massing on the Ukrainian border and the bloodiest war in Europe since 1945 looming, President Joseph Biden saw the pipelines as a vehicle for Vladimir Putin to weaponize natural gas for his political and territorial ambitions.

At least in movies like The Godfather, Marlon Brando looks like a gangster. Then there’s the obviously evil Darth Vader in Star Wars for instance. Biden, however, appears similar to Luke Skywalker or your friendly Fuller Brush Man. Whereas Marlon Brando and Darth Vader are overt depictions of evil in form, Biden & Luke are `Luciferic’ Deceptions, i.e., a contradiction between substance and form. Why? Because whereas with Darth Vader & Brando the gangster and evil are honest and obvious, with Luke and Biden the evil in practical terms is a fraud and deceptive. This tactic of cloaking evil in an apparent light, causes a people to stumble and embrace a false light – a false evidence.
