Tyson Foods to close two chicken plants, affecting hundreds in Virginia, Arkansas

  •  Tyson Foods has announced that it will be closing two chicken plants because of a drastic drop in sales over the past year.
  • The plants in Glen Allen, Va., and Van Buren, Ark., will be shut down in May, affecting the 1,661 employees who work at the two facilities.
  • In a statement to CNBC, Tyson said “while the decision was not easy, it reflects our broader strategy to strengthen our poultry business by optimizing operations and utilizing full available capacity at each plant.”
  • In October, Tyson announced that it would relocate approximately 1,000 of its corporate staff in Illinois and South Dakota to Arkansas.

Poll: 60 percent of Likely Voters Agree “Climate Change Has Become a Religion”

  •   A poll released today by Rasmussen found that 60 percent of “likely voters” agree with the statement, “Climate change has become a religion that ‘actually has nothing to do with the climate’ and is really about power and control.”
  • Forty-seven percent of those polled “strongly agreed” with the statement. Even 45 percent of Democrats polled agreed with the statement. At the same time, 35 percent of respondents disagreed with the statement, with 25 percent of them strongly disagreeing.

  • Silicon Valley Bank might have been able to make good on $74 million promised to customers had it not pledged the money to leftist causes.
  • According to a new database by the conservative Claremont Institute, the collapsed bank donated or pledged to donate nearly $74 million to groups related to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Amid a Banking Crisis with the Segment Rated “Negative” – Four Banks Awarded Over $60 BILLION to BLM Movement

  • With the banking segment being downgraded to “Negative” by Moody’s, we discover that four banks gave more than $60 BILLION to BLM-related causes over the past few years. 
  •   Moody’s rated the ENTIRE Banking Segment as “Negative”.  This is a very big deal.  We also discovered that US Banks have assets that are $2 TRILLION under their balances.
  • This number appeared very large at first glance, when sorting the data by the size of the contributions, it turns out the four of the top six donors are US Banks.
  • JPMorgan Chase and Co has donated over $30 billion.  Bank of America donated over $18 billion.  Goldman Sach donated over $10 billion and Fifth Third Bancorp donated another $2.8 billion.

These four banks donated more than $60 billion to BLM and you wonder why the Banking Segment is rated negative and in a crisis.

DOJ, SEC Investigating Silicon Valley Bank Collapse: Report

  • The Justice Department and Securities and Exchange Commission are investigating the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank.
  • Silicon Valley Bank was in FDIC receivership on Friday after investors withdrew more than $40 billion in a run on the bank.
  • The so-called bank regulators somehow ‘failed’ to notice Silicon Valley Bank was a ticking time bomb when more than two-thirds of its deposits were invested in mortgage-backed securities that yielded 1.5% as the Fed raised rates 450 basis points last year, according to its balance sheets.
  • The DOJ and SEC are now conducting separate investigations into SVB’s failure.

  • Last week South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem broadcast a warning on the Tucker Carlson show about a bill that passed her State House and Senate that she was forced to veto because it changed the definition of money and banned non-govt-issued cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. {Broadcast Warning Here}
  • The bill stems from the generally innocuous Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), which Daniel Horowitz describes as, “a set of standards to facilitate interstate sales and commercial transactions such that all definitions pertaining to such commerce are uniform and clearly understood.”  It looks like Horowitz was the first to transmit the public warning, as identified by two members of the South Dakota House Freedom Caucus, and then Kristi Noem became aware – thus the veto.
  • Governor Noem warned that the bill was already passing through several states, and if you look at the UCC Amendment tracking page [DATA HERE], she is correct.  The states in green on the map below are states where the UCC revision bill has already been introduced.

  • As Daniel Horowitz notes in his initial warning dated March 2, 2023:
  • “The revisions to Article I are very clear now that Bitcoin will not be money, because even though the definition provides for electronic money … it says that an asset that is adopted by a government as its medium of exchange will not qualify as money … if the electronic asset, such as Bitcoin, existed before it was adopted by the government. So Bitcoin, of course, exists today; it existed before El Salvador adopted it as its currency … so it will never be money for UCC purposes. The same for other kinds of crypto currencies.” So there you have it. Officials clearly mean to pave the way for CBDC while explicitly barring all competition. (more)
  • When asked last week why her legislature would do this, Noem responded the state politicians likely did not read the bill as it was constructed by lobbyists.  Noem is exactly correct and hits on a subject we have discussed here frequently {GO DEEP}.  However, one of the more alarming aspects to Noem’s discussion of the issue is that around 20 other states are considering similar legislation.  WATCH:

Elon Musk: Current Bank Crisis Similar to 1929 Stock Market Crash

  • Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the current financial crisis faced in the United States is similar to what happened in 1929, which led to the stock market crash. Musk’s tweet was a reply to comments by Cathie Wood, founder, and CEO of ARK Invest, who analyzed the ongoing banking crisis, faulting regulators for ignoring the traditional banking systems and focusing on the decentralized financial sector.

  • Ahead of the Great Depression, public utility holding companies were criticized for ‘unscrupulous’ actions, leading to congress passing an array of federal regulations aimed at stabilizing the markets. The Fed on its part overlooked the situation and did nothing to prevent the wave of bank failures, similar to Wood’s observation under the current dispensation.
  • This time around, the regulators are observed to be making efforts and trying to curb the situation. The Fed, Treasury Department, and the FDIC have all rolled out plans to safeguard depositors from the ongoing. However, there is no clarity as to how the situation will be resolved, as investors remain hopeful about the future of their assets.

  • House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Breitbart News last week that Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration has been “fighting” against transparency “every step of the way” with GOP investigators probing the president’s family business dealings.

President Biden Issues Executive Order for ‘Universal Background Checks Without Legislation’ 

  •   Biden’s executive order has the stated goal of “increasing the number of background checks conducted before firearm sales, moving the U.S. as close to universal background checks as possible without additional legislation.”
  • “The Executive Order will also keep more guns out of dangerous hands by increasing the effective use of ‘red flag’ laws, strengthen efforts to hold the gun industry accountable, and accelerate law enforcement efforts to identify and apprehend the shooters menacing our communities,” the executive order adds. “President Biden is also encouraging the Federal Trade Commission to issue a public report analyzing how gun manufacturers market firearms to minors.”
  • According to the Executive Order, the President’s Cabinet is directed to:
  • Increase the number of background checks by ensuring that all background checks required by law are conducted before firearm purchases, moving the U.S. as close to universal background checks as possible without additional legislation.
  • Improve public awareness and increase appropriate use of extreme risk protection (“red flag”) orders and safe storage of firearms.
  • Address the loss or theft of firearms during shipping.
  • Provide the public and policymakers with more information regarding federally licensed firearms dealers who are violating the law.
  • Use the Department of Defense’s acquisition of firearms to further firearm and public safety practices.
  • Help catch shooters by accelerating federal law enforcement’s reporting of ballistics data.
  • Accelerate and intensify implementation of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA).
  • Improve federal support for gun violence survivors, victims and survivors’ families, first responders to gun violence, and communities affected by gun violence.
  • Advance congressional efforts to prevent the proliferation of firearms undetectable by metal detectors.

Russia’s defence ministry said Tuesday it scrambled fighter jets following the detection of a US drone over the Black Sea but denied causing it to crash despite accusations from Washington.

The defence ministry in Moscow said it detected an American MQ-9 drone “over the waters of the Black Sea in the area of the Crimean peninsula” flying “towards the Russian state border”.

It added that the drone was flying with its “transponders turned off” and fighter jets were scrambled “to identify” it.

“As a result of sharp manoeuvring at around 0930 MSK (0630 GMT) the MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle entered an uncontrolled flight with loss of altitude and collided with the surface of the water,” the ministry said.

“The Russian fighters did not use their on-board weapons, made no contact with the UAV and safely returned to their home airfield,” the ministry said.

Pentagon Officials Suggest Aliens Could Send Probes To Earth

  • Pentagon officials published a draft report in early March suggesting alien life could be visiting our solar system using small probes similar to those used by NASA.
  • The draft report, authored by the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) director Sean Kirkpatrick and Harvard University astronomy chairman Abraham (Avi) Loeb, argued extraterrestrial equipment could arrive on Earth in one of two forms: as trash or as functional equipment.
  • “An artificial interstellar object could potentially be a parent craft that releases many small probes during its close passage to Earth, an operational construct not too dissimilar from NASA missions,” the authors wrote. “These ‘dandelion seeds’ could be separated from the parent craft by the tidal gravitational force of the Sun or by a maneuvering capability.”
  • AARO has no idea if there are any functioning alien probes near Earth, according to the report. Thankfully, there is a project underway to answer this question definitively, but it is limited by currently established boundaries of physics determined by man in this dawning stage of our technological capabilities.
