- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is leading an 18-state alliance to combat “woke” environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment policies.

- The Fed is therefore now more likely to end QT and the rate-hiking cycle early. It will not be enough, however, to save credit and equities, which are materially underpricing an economic slump.
A fall in bank deposits will lead to less “high-powered” money, i.e. bank reserves, in the system, which means considerably tighter financial conditions than hitherto experienced. That would be the final straw for an economy that was already highly likely to enter a recession as soon as the summer.
The trickle has already begun, with bank deposits falling since last summer, almost by the same amount as banks’ holdings of Treasuries and agency securities have declined. This is because banks have on net been selling their securities to non-banks, meaning a reduction in total bank deposits.
We should expect this trend to continue. The chart below shows that banks typically reduce their Treasury holdings as a percentage of assets as the Fed raises rates, with the ratio falling before – and troughing during – a recession.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) gave salary estimates to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as the reason to have people’s firearms purchases monitored.

The latest production from the FOIA has hundreds of pages—many redacted—showing ATF agents requesting warrantless surveillance by the FBI for lawful reasons such as low salaries, past firearm purchases, and sending “bizarre” messages.

- On Tuesday, U.S. officials reported that a USAF MQ9 drone crashed after allegedly being disabled by one of two Russian Su-27 fighter jets. The Gateway Pundit reported that U.S. European Command claimed that the Russian fighters dumped fuel on the drone, flew in front of it and eventually collided with it, breaking it’s propeller and forcing U.S. controllers to crash the drone into the sea.

- UN nuclear watchdog inspectors have found that roughly 2.5 tons of natural uranium have gone missing from a Libyan site that is not under government control, the watchdog told member states
- The finding is the result of an inspection originally planned for last year that “had to be postponed because of the security situation in the region” and was finally carried out on Tuesday, according to the confidential statement by International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi.
- IAEA inspectors “found that 10 drums containing approximately 2.5 tons of natural uranium in the form of UOC (uranium ore concentrate) previously declared by (Libya) … as being stored at that location were not present at the location,” the one-page statement said.

- Nearly half of registered Democrat voters think that China poses a more significant threat to the U.S. than Russia, according to a newly released Quinnipiac University poll.

- Information obtained from Health New Zealand via the Freedom of Information Act shows that people who receive a third dose of Pfizer’s covid injection increase their risk of death by 11%.
- The policy of encouraging booster injections should cease immediately.
- Information concerning mortality in 2021, 2022, and 2023 correlated with vaccination status has been released by Te Whata Ora, Health New Zealand, following a Freedom of Information (“OIA”) request. The figures are signed off by Astrid Koornneef, Interim Director of Prevention, National Public Health Service.
- The released figures include all NZ registered deaths by month. The figures show that for the last six months of 2022, 80% of all people dying in New Zealand had received Pfizer mRNA booster injections. Yet according to official government figures updated 14 February 2023 only 73.2% of those eligible (18+ years) have received a booster.
- 1.8% of those dying are under 18 years of age and have therefore not received a booster. Adjusting for this, recipients of booster shots have at least an 11% increased chance of dying in 2022 compared to all other groups, including the double vaccinated, partially vaccinated, and unvaccinated. This equates to 3,040 additional 2022 deaths among the boosted when compared to other groups.

- The vast majority of Americans believe U.S. companies should hire executives based solely on merit, character and quality, according to a CRC Advisors poll shared exclusively with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
- Among respondents, 87% supported a merit-based approach, compared to 8% who supported a quota system for race and gender and 5% who were unsure or refused to answer, according to the poll. - The 2016 Republican club counter-offensive to a reenergized movement now carrying the MAGA banner, was led by the ‘Never Trumpers’. Most of you will easily remember how the professional political class, the Jeb Bush wing within the Republican club, responded. However, this time in 2016 we had the previous experience, the lessons and a map of their playbook in hand.
- The MAGA movement knew what the GOPe club were trying to do, and we defeated them because our candidate was big, snarky, strong and impervious to the professional Republican club throwing everything including the kitchen sink at him. We The People were not going to retreat. We held the line, moved forward and won. However, our 2016 victory made the Republican inside club even more furious.
- The Bushes, McConnells et al were unwilling to relinquish control of the club and would do anything, say anything and use every institutional lever within their control to remain in power. The inside DC Republican club used every deceptive resource available to undermine our President and kneecap him from disrupting the system.
- It wasn’t just the Democrats trying to impeach President Trump, the Republican wing of the UniParty was more than willing to provide background support, they just couldn’t be visible when doing it.
- This is the battle for control of the Republican Party. It’s not about voters or candidates per se’, the battle is for the control of a private club – the RNC. President Trump has loosened the grip, but it is up to We The People of the MAGA movement to pry their fingers from the mechanisms of control.
- What I am describing above is what the background battle, within the state of Florida, around Ron DeSantis, is all about.
- The Bush clan have wrapped their arms around Governor Ron DeSantis as a 2024 weapon to counteract the MAGA movement. They have poured hundreds of millions into the “acceptable Republican” effort and are in full control of the DeSantis campaign management.
- The Mitt Romney’s, Mitch McConnell’s, Paul Ryan’s, Kevin McCarthy’s etc are trying to leverage the club dynamic over Ron DeSantis and provide enticements to maintain the alliance with their internal battle plan to retain full control over the Republican Party.
- When President Trump labels the former congressman, now Florida Governor as “Ron DeSanctimonious,” that background reality is the who, what, when and why.
- This battle is about Republican Party control and the use of Ron DeSantis by the club members who refuse to let go of power.

- Trump is a gamer and his words were just a precursor to let Ron know that all the money and notoriety he will be promised for distancing himself from MAGA to “Save” America, is really nothing but fools gold in the end if MAGA goes the way of the Tea Party!
- The Republican Club would rather lose elections and retain power than win and be held accountable to deliver on their false promises.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is not popular with voters at all. Only 31% of voters rate McConnell favorably. He is a total disaster.
Also, 55% of voters believe that Republican politicians in Washington D.C. worked secretly with Democrats to keep President Trump from being reelected in 2020. 67% of Republicans believe this to be the case.
- People are REACTING to this one— & maybe rightfully so, BUT…

So logically thinking, why would Roy release such a thing? Knowing the incoming backlash from @realDonaldTrump & #MAGA - Isn’t this the same guy everybody said was “crazy” for not immediately voting for McCarthy as Speaker? Wasn’t he part of the group obviously being advised by Trump?
- Maybe I’m too optimistic, but currently standing by my God-given discernment.
I hadn’t thought of the “pressuring DeSantis to announce” or “term limits” angle?!?
I’m wondering if Roy was told to turn up the heat for optics— it could force other RINOS to expose themselves without DeSantis ever even having to formally announce a candidacy.
Leaves traitors exposed, & Desantis just goes quietly back to being a great Governor.
On Florida law— they’d need to amend it during current legislative session. Hasn’t happened so far.

The little yellow school bus, yes indeed. Electric vehicles were tried over 100 years ago and at one point competed with ICE and steam powered cars, trucks and buses. Steamers worked okay as long as the boiler pressure was properly regulated (otherwise nasty results followed) and as long as the boiler flame didn’t falter (wasn’t fun lightening the flame – located under the works – on a frosty morning). Electric vehicles – battery powered, didn’t last long, required lots of ‘charging’ (batters don’t actually store electricity, they produce a chemically created charge), and are not cost effective (nothing has changed, other than memory lapse).
Meanwhile, who said the Fed ‘has to cut interest rates’? They are required by charter to control inflation. Guaranteeing all deposits at a dim’s pet goonie land bank isn’t a QE – it is an extension of the FDIC (and probably illegal without Congressional approval).
