Federal Reserve Forecasts Surging Inflation in March
- The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Inflation Nowcasting tool projects the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to surge to 3.02% in March, up from 2.4% in February, due to a massive spike in energy prices following the start of a military conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran. This rapid increase in inflation could force the Federal Reserve to abandon its planned interest rate cuts and instead consider raising rates, which would be a major challenge for the historically expensive stock market.
- The sharp rise in inflation, driven by the largest energy supply chain disruption in history, threatens to derail the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy plans and could have significant implications for the stock market, which has been relying on continued rate cuts to sustain its near-parabolic rise.

"More states are wanting to buy precious metals as a hedge against economic turmoil," per WSJ
— unusual_whales (@unusual_whales) March 24, 2026
- Passed the “Wyoming Gold Act” and bought 2,312 troy ounces of gold (about 72 bars, roughly $10 million at purchase in December 2025; now valued at ~$11.6 million). The bars are stored in a vault inside a former newspaper building in Casper. State officials (including Treasurer Curt Meier and Sen. Bob Ide) see it as a “BS meter” against debasement and plan to increase allocations.
- Utah: Pioneer in the space—recognized gold/silver as legal tender in 2011. Passed a 2024 law allowing up to $140 million (10% of rainy-day funds) in precious metals; holdings are stored in a Brink’s vault in Salt Lake City. Lawmakers are also considering letting mine owners pay some taxes in gold.
- Tennessee: 2023 law already lets the treasurer buy/sell gold and silver. A senate committee just backed a bill to appropriate $50 million specifically for a dedicated precious-metals fund.
- West Virginia: Lawmakers introduced a bill this session to let the state invest up to 10% of public funds in gold and silver.
- Georgia: Lawmakers recently pitched legislation to further integrate precious metals into the state economy (details still in early stages).
Texas is frequently referenced in the wider context (and noted by WSJ-adjacent reporting) as the only state with an actual operating bullion depository (opened in 2015) and long-standing legal-tender laws for gold/silver, though the core WSJ story doesn’t detail new purchases there

Agencies. The Executive Branch determination noted that foreign-produced routers (1) introduce “a supply chain vulnerability that could disrupt the U.S. economy, critical infrastructure, and national defense” and (2) pose “a severe cybersecurity risk that could be leveraged to immediately and severely disrupt U.S. critical infrastructure and directly harm U.S. persons.” This action means that new models of foreign-produced routers will no longer be eligible for marketing or sale in the U.S. The determination included an exemption for routers that the Department of War (DoW) or the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have granted “Conditional Approval” after finding that such device or devices do not pose such unacceptable risks. Producers of consumer-grade routers are encouraged to submit an application for Conditional Approval using the guidance attached to the determination.
How foreign countries (mainly China-linked groups) can and have used these routers for cyber attacks
- Attackers exploit known/zero-day vulnerabilities in consumer routers (or insert backdoors via supply chain) and install malware like the KV Botnet. Hundreds of U.S. home and small-office routers (many foreign-made Cisco, Netgear, etc.) were turned into a botnet that PRC actors used to hide their location while launching further attacks.
- The infected routers act as anonymous hops. Traffic looks like it’s coming from an ordinary American home instead of a foreign state actor. This lets hackers pivot into ISPs, energy grids, water treatment plants, transportation systems, and other critical infrastructure without revealing their origin.
- Once inside a router, attackers can steal credentials, exfiltrate data, run password-spraying attacks, or preposition for sabotage. Volt Typhoon, for example, focused on “living off the land” techniques inside U.S. networks while routing everything through compromised consumer routers.
- A single campaign can hijack thousands of routers at once, creating a ready-made infrastructure for DDoS attacks, spying on U.S. persons, or sudden outages that could affect emergency services, hospitals, power, etc.

Amendment protects freedom of speech, which means the right for *everyone* to express ideas, opinions, and information. It also protects the press, as in the *printing press*, which means the right to print and distribute those ideas. In other words, the government cannot impose licensing schemes or other restraints on printing presses, or in modern terms, on websites, blogs, social media, video platforms, or any other means of mass distribution. “The press” is not a special class of people, it is a function. At this point, it feels like the Supreme Court needs to take up one of these cases and remind everyone of that basic fact.

What we are seeing right now with a large element of Special Operations Forces pushing to the Middle East is not just routine military movement. It is a deliberate positioning of capability, and more importantly, decision making power, at the highest level.
The surge of at least…
— Green Beret Nap Time (@GBNT1952) March 24, 2026
35 C-17 flights from key installations across the United States into Israel and Jordan strongly indicates the potential formation of a Special Operations Joint Task Force (SOJTF) or, if allied partners are involved, a Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF). That distinction matters, but the implication is the same. This is not a conventional buildup. This is the architecture required to execute decisive operations. Special Operations Forces operate fundamentally differently than conventional military units. A traditional force buildup of brigades, divisions, armored units, signals preparation for large scale, sustained ground combat. That is not what this is.
A SOJTF or CJSOTF is designed for precision, speed, and strategic impact. It brings together elite elements from across the services: Army Special Forces, Rangers, Navy SEALs, Air Force Special Tactics, under a unified command structure that can execute complex missions with minimal footprint but maximum effect.
These formations are built to dismantle networks, eliminate remaining high value targets, enable partner forces, and create cascading operational advantages without requiring a massive ground invasion. The inclusion of the 82nd Airborne Division in this movement is also telling. The 82nd is not being positioned as the main effort, but rather as an uplift and contingency force. Their role is to provide rapid reinforcement, secure key terrain, respond to escalation, and enable the freedom of maneuver for special operations elements.
They are there to support and stabilize, not to lead a conventional campaign. This combination gives the President something critically important: options. A SOJTF or CJSOTF provides the ability to act quickly without committing to a large scale war, apply precise force where it matters most, scale operations up or down based on conditions, and achieve strategic objectives without the political and human cost of a full conventional deployment. Most importantly, it creates a pathway to victory without a massive ground footprint. Victory in this context does not mean occupying terrain with large formations. It means achieving decisive outcomes: neutralizing threats, collapsing hostile networks, and shaping the environment through targeted, intelligence driven operations.
That is exactly what Special Operations Forces are built to do. If the objective is to finish the job, this is the most effective way to do it. A SOJTF or CJSOTF allows the United States to bring its most capable and adaptable forces to bear, while avoiding the risks and long term commitments associated with conventional boots on the ground warfare. This is not escalation for its own sake. It is precision positioning for decisive action, and anyone saying any different is either doing so out of ignorance or because they want to use any force movement into the Middle East as a club against the President.
All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.” ~ Sun Tzu
“Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.”
Sun Tzu wants the enemy’s state or army captured whole and intact, not shattered. This preserves your own resources and sets up a stable post-conflict situation.
- Loose talk of peace without formal guarantees = likely a trap or stalling tactic.
- Polite envoys offering compliments = the enemy may be exhausted and genuinely seeking terms.
The true master of war (and by extension, peace) wins before the battle becomes necessary—by outmaneuvering, isolating, and psychologically dominating the opponent so they submit or sue for terms on your conditions. He is deeply pragmatic: war is expensive and risky, so the smartest “negotiation” is the one you force through superior position rather than desperate battlefield talks.

— @amuse (@amuse) March 24, 2026
(This continues onto the next page with the affidavit requirement for the official making the determination.)What this means in context
- The bill’s main rule (earlier on page 12) requires documentary proof of citizenship for federal voter registration. Acceptable documents include things like a REAL ID-compliant ID that indicates citizenship, a U.S. passport, birth certificate, or naturalization papers.
- But right at page 12, line 22, it explicitly requires every state to create an alternative, no-cost process for anyone who lacks those standard documents. You can sign an attestation under penalty of perjury + provide “such other evidence” (e.g., marriage certificate, old school records, or whatever the state accepts under EAC guidance), and the official must decide if it proves citizenship.
- This is the exact provision Mike Lee highlighted in his post. It directly contradicts the claim that the bill “bars driver’s licenses” or “forces people to buy passports.” Standard driver’s licenses generally don’t count as proof on their own (only “enhanced” ones in a few states do), but the bill forces states to offer this affidavit/other-evidence workaround instead of just turning people away.
the text beginning on page 12 line 22 is the “escape valve” that makes the bill workable for citizens who don’t have (or can’t easily get) the primary documents. Democrats calling it a blanket barrier or “poll tax” are ignoring this mandatory alternative process.
In January, the Trump FBI, with DNI Gabbard present, raided Fulton County for hundreds of thousands of ballots from the 2020 election, with a focus on mail-in ballots.

the infamous “pipe burst”, that turned out to be an overflowed toilet, which caused the massive delay in tabulation of absentee/mail-in ballots in the wee hours of the morning, then massive batches of Biden mail-in ballots continued to trickle in, well into the following days, flipping the state from Trump to Biden. Similar delays in counting happened in other swing states around the nation, like Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, all states which Trump was winning, flipped to Biden, long after Election Day was over, via massive arrivals of mail-in ballots to deep blue districts.
So what’s my point?
If the Supreme Court rules that Election Day means that elections must be decided on Election Day, the Dems will no longer be able to utilize their mail-in ballot harvesting scheme. They will no longer be able to delay elections, so they can calculate where they need to send their harvested mail-in ballots, to then flood deep blue counties with fraudulent mail-in votes, to flip entire states and national elections.
If we have same day elections, their mail-in ballot scheme doesn’t work. This leads me to believe that the Trump FBI, along with DNI Gabbard, found legitimate proof of fraud in the 2020 election when they raided Fulton County, and now they have to shut down this scheme. I think we, the public, are close to being shown the official evidence that 2020 was indeed stolen via fraud, which would mean the 2020 election was a continuation of the treasonous coup, launched by the Obama admin.
- A survey of 1,600 likely voters conducted on behalf of the Honest Elections Project earlier this month found that 93 percent of Republicans, 83 percent of Independents, and 74 percent of Democrats agree ballots “should be received by Election Day.” While overall, 83 percent of those surveyed agree with this deadline, a significant majority — 57 percent — “strongly agree.”
- The survey also found that 60 percent of likely voters agree officials should not count mail-in ballots if they are “received after polls close on Election Day.” This includes 80 percent of Republicans and, although not a majority, a significant 42 percent of Democrats.
