President Donald Trump has ordered federal law enforcement to patrol Washington, D.C., for seven days starting at midnight on Friday, the White House announced. The move comes in response to a surge in violent crime in the overwhelmingly Democrat-run nation’s capital.
The deployment includes agencies like the U.S. Park Police, FBI, DEA, ATF, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“Washington, DC is an amazing city, but it has been plagued by violent crime for far too long. President Trump has directed an increased presence of federal law enforcement to protect innocent citizens,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.
“Starting tonight, there will be no safe harbor for violent criminals in D.C.”
Leavitt went on to say the President “is committed to making our Nation’s capital safer for its residents, lawmakers, and visitors from all around the world.”
Trump is actually going to follow through on high-profile arrests, he is going to need control of DC. He will need complete security to pull off arrests, military presence would give him the ability to mask movement of high-profile targets, and he will need the National Guard in place preemptively to shut down any riots or uprisings, because the public will likely be outraged if certain high-profile individuals are arrested. If there is going to be a “corruption purge” here in the US, similar to the one in Saudi Arabia in 2017, Trump taking federal/military control over DC would be necessary. Food for thought.

The United Nations Office for Project Services has published data showing that since the resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza on May 19 and up until August 5, a total of 2,604 aid trucks were collected by the UN after entering the Strip. Of those, 2,309 did not reach their intended destinations inside the enclave.
According to the organization, this was due to the trucks being “intercepted either peacefully by hungry people or forcefully by armed actors during transit in Gaza.” This accounts for 88% of all trucks.
In recent months, the percentages were even higher. According to UNOPS, in June, 1,155 trucks were collected by the UN and its partner organizations, and 1,048 of them — 90.7% — were intercepted before reaching their destinations. In July, the figure rose to 94%, with 1,161 trucks collected and 1,093 intercepted.

Now writer Don Surber has discovered a doozy of a BLS internal report from 2024, reported by Bloomberg News, that the agency has been mismanaging data up the wazoo.
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics is “not sufficiently focused” on how it disseminates key economic data and a revamp of the agency’s culture is required, according to a report commissioned after a series of botched releases.
The Labor Department, which oversees the BLS, ordered the independent review to examine “procedures and practices for the equitable and timely provision of data to the public.” The findings of the 60-day external review were published Tuesday and included a number of recommendations to improve processes and communications.
“We have already begun the work of turning the team’s recommendations into a roadmap to recommit our agency to data security and equitable access to data,” BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer said on a call Tuesday.
Well, she didn’t.
This corresponds pretty well to the problems President Trump cited on the day he gave her the boot:

The Bloomberg report is more disturbing than just major revisions of data that Trump cited.

The report was commissioned after several incidents around data releases raised questions about how some of the world’s most sensitive economic information gets disseminated. In August, the BLS provided at least three Wall Street firms with highly anticipated figures on revisions to US payrolls — all while the official release was delayed on its website.
The episode not only sparked outrage among investors but also on Capitol Hill, where key Senate Republicans charged the BLS with its “continued failures” in producing crucial economic data and demanded answers to questions around its data release protocols.
Other incidents earlier in the year raised similar concerns. In May, the BLS inadvertently published inflation data a half hour before the scheduled release time, and separately a BLS economist disclosed internal data to an exclusive group of analysts he described as “super users.”
BLS claimed innocent human error (you know a glitch) around these releases of data to insiders first instead of everyone, but nobody believes that. Billions of dollars of trades are on the line and equal access to data is ingrained in every player, government and traders alike, ever since the dawn of Wall Street. Any uneven release of data is inside trading, and release of data to privileged cronies over others is politicization of data.
Which is where Trump had the problem. The woman promised to reform her data mishandling, which stretches way back, and she went right back to business as usual, manipulating the data for political purposes in a variety of ways.

Beyond the examples raised by other people in this thread, one crucial and often-overlooked point undermines the credibility of Hamas’ casualty figures: the absence of a significant number of martyrdom notices of fallen members.
In previous conflicts between Israel and Palestinian factions, groups like Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) publicly honored their dead fighters. Martyrdom notices were standard, quick to be published, both as a cultural and ideological tool.
They were issued to glorify the fallen and reaffirm the narrative of so-called resistance. But in this war, that practice has largely disappeared. Hamas has published martyrdom notices for top members like Yahya Sinwar, Muhammad Deif, Marwan Issa, and some senior commanders.
Yes, some obituaries have surfaced online on affiliated Telegram channels or from family members on Facebook, but these are unofficial. Hamas and PIJ have not released formal notices like it has in past wars. Why the sudden silence? The most plausible explanation is this: Hamas and PIJ have suffered devastating losses, possibly between 20-30 thousand fighters. That’s far higher than in any previous round of fighting.
Publicly acknowledging this would expose the extent of their military losses and undermine the narrative they’re aggressively pushing, that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. It’s important to understand that the Health Ministry does not distinguish between combatants and non-combatants.
It simply reports aggregate deaths. The current Ministry of Health’s claim stands at around 60,000 fatalities. If a little more than a third of those are fighters, it may alter the international perception of the war. For example, if 25,000 fighters belonging to armed factions have been killed and the TOTAL number of Palestinian deaths is overestimated by 10%, the number of genuine civilian fatalities drops to around 29,000.
That’s still tragic, but it challenges the narrative of indiscriminate slaughter and genocide that Hamas is promoting. Will we ever know the true number of combatants killed? It will be difficult to know while Hamas/PIJ are in control of the data.
These are not transparent actors; they are terrorist organizations fighting for survival, and I suspect they are manipulating casualty figures as a tool of information warfare. I could elaborate further, but I hope this provides an argument as towhy the Ministry of Health’s statistics, including Hamas’s silence about its fighters who have been killed, should be treated with heavy skepticism.

E.g., in the 2014 war, the Hamas Ministry of Health claimed 39% of deaths were women and children, which was found to be inflated. Meanwhile, they omitted the deaths of a large number of terrorists from their list. In the 2008-09 war, the discrepancies were even larger. Not only did the ‘Ministry of Health’ even more significantly inflate the proportion of women and children killed, but they absurdly claimed that only 49 deaths were combatants, vs. the 709 identified by Israel (Hamas even later admitted 600-700 combatants were killed).

According to a Rasmussen poll released Monday, nearly two-thirds of voters (65%) are following declassified releases over the past month by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Sen. I’ve spoken with President Trump a lot in the past 24 hours. Senate Democrats wanted a BILLION dollars to fast track his nominees. Trump told them to pound sand. NO DEAL.

This power has never been used in U.S. history but was explicitly noted as a potential mechanism by the Supreme Court in Noel Canning (both in the majority and concurring opinions) to allow the President, with sufficient allies in Congress, to bypass pro forma sessions designed to block recesses.
In the scenario where the Senate is holding pro forma sessions (short, no-business meetings every three days to avoid being considered in recess) while the House seeks a full recess, the process could unfold as follows to trigger this power:
Under Article I, Section 5, Clause 4 of the Constitution, neither chamber can adjourn for more than three days without the other’s consent, typically achieved via a concurrent resolution passed by simple majority in both.

On March 25, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14248, titled “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections.”
The order directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to coordinate with state attorneys general and election officials to identify and investigate “suspected election crimes” (e.g. voter fraud or illegal registrations).
It instructed the DOJ to enter information-sharing agreements with states so that any evidence of ineligible voting or registration discovered at the state level would be reported to federal authorities.
A major focus was placed on purging ineligible names from voter rolls and prosecuting unlawful registrations.
The DOJ was ordered to review voter lists for individuals who are not eligible to vote, including people with felony convictions, deceased individuals, and non-citizens, and to assist states in prosecuting such cases where appropriate.
In fact, the text of the order directs the Attorney General to “coordinate with State attorneys general” to pursue foreign nationals unlawfully registered or voting in U.S. elections and to enforce federal laws barring non-citizen voting.
It also mandates enforcement of existing list-maintenance laws (like the National Voter Registration Act and Help America Vote Act) that require removal of deceased or otherwise ineligible voters from the rolls.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has already dispatched teams to problem states like California, Texas, and Minnesota.
Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows (D) confirmed during a press conference that her state received a DOJ letter, and that according to NASS, all 50 states will eventually receive similar requests.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) sponsored and pushed forward the PELOSI Act (Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments Act), a bill aimed at banning members of Congress, the president, vice president, and their spouses from trading or holding individual stocks while in office. On July 30, 2025, Hawley was the only Republican to vote with Democrats on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to advance this legislation out of committee, passing it by a 8-4 vote. During the committee process, Hawley joined Democrats in blocking an amendment proposed by Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), which would have required a review or investigation into Nancy Pelosi’s stock trading activities over the past 25 years.

During his two terms, Obama enacted several policies that subsidized uncompetitive, unneeded, and unwanted green energy while placing onerous regulations on fossil fuels. During his first term, Trump tried to reverse much of the Obama administration’s anti-fossil fuel actions.
However, there was only so much that could be done given the constant distractions Trump faced throughout his first term.
One of the most consequential environmental regulations that Trump was unable to eliminate was Obama’s “Endangerment Finding.”
Most Americans have probably never heard of the Endangerment Finding. But this obscure rule has effectively allowed the federal government to label carbon dioxide a harmful “pollutant” that can be regulated under the Clean Air Act.
Unfortunately, a U.S. Supreme Court decision allowed the Obama administration to enact the rule in the first place.
In 2007, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Massachusetts v. EPA that “greenhouse gases are air pollutants covered by the Clean Air Act and that EPA must determine whether or not emissions of greenhouse gases from new motor vehicles cause or contribute to air pollution which may reasonably be anticipated to endanger public health or welfare.”
Although this is the standard reading of the ruling, it is not totally accurate. According to the majority opinion, written by former Justice John Paul Stevens, “We need not and do not reach the question whether on remand EPA must make an endangerment finding, or whether policy concerns can inform EPA’s actions in the event that it makes such a finding. We hold only that EPA must ground its reasons for action or inaction in the statute.”
So, the 2007 decision did not determine that carbon dioxide is a harmful air pollutant. Rather, it granted that the EPA has the authority to determine if carbon dioxide is a harmful greenhouse gas based solely upon unequivocal data.
Trump’s EPA Administrator, Lee Zeldin, has made rescinding the Endangerment Finding a priority.
“A lot of people are out there listening, they might not know what the endangerment finding is. If you ask congressional Democrats to describe what it is, the left would say that it means that carbon dioxide is a pollutant, carbon dioxide is an endangerment to human health. They might say methane is a pollutant, methane is an endangerment to human health,” Zeldin said on the Ruthless podcast.
“That’s an oversimplified, I would say inaccurate way to describe it,” Zeldin added. “The Obama administration said that carbon dioxide, when mixed with a bunch of other well-mixed gases, greenhouse gases, that it contributes to climate change. How much? They don’t say… they say that climate change engenders human health, so because of these different mental leaps… then there were all sorts of vehicle regulations that followed.”
Zeldin said repealing the Endangerment Finding is like “basically driving a dagger into the heart of the climate change religion.” That is music to my ears.
It is also great news for Americans.
Climate alarmists and environmental zealots claim that carbon dioxide emissions must be eliminated no matter the cost.
They are wrong. By denigrating CO2 and attempting to regulate it to death, they have harmed tens of millions of Americans with higher energy bills. Moreover, their silly belief that carbon dioxide is a harmful air pollutant has put the entire U.S. energy grid at risk.

Hundreds of pharmacies across Russia shut down this week after a cyberattack hit two of the country’s largest pharmacy chains, disrupting payments and access to medication reservations for patients.
The Stolichki pharmacy chain, which operates about 1,000 stores across Russia confirmed that a technical failure that halted its operations on Tuesday was caused by a hack. As of Wednesday, Stolichki was still working to fully restore its services, with about half of its stores reopened.
Naval Group, France’s largest shipbuilder, has allegedly suffered a major hacker attack. Researchers believe that a data sample that attackers shared online contains real details. The company is heavily involved in the country’s defence sector.
A threat actor announced the supposed Naval Group data breach on a popular data leak forum. According to the attackers, they have accessed combat management systems (CMS) used by France’s submarines and frigates.
Interestingly, attackers don’t seem to be interested in selling the data, as data leak forum users often do. Instead, they’re looking to extort Naval Group by threatening to leak the data.
Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota has activated the National Guard after a massive cyberattack targeted the city of St. Paul.

U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took a blowtorch to the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP)—commonly known as the Vaccine Court— calling it a corrupt and broken system that has abandoned vaccine-injured children and now functions as a shield for Big Pharma’s profits and government malfeasance.
The U.S. government gave vaccine manufacturers blanket legal immunity—then created a kangaroo court, rigged against parents and children, to supposedly “compensate” the injured. But instead of justice, Kennedy says victims face stonewalling, legal abuse, and a government hellbent on defending its own wallet.
And the numbers back him up.
To date, the Vaccine Court has paid out $5.4 billion to just 12,000 petitioners. But Kennedy notes that thousands more have been dismissed, delayed, or bullied into silence while their children suffer life-altering disabilities.
Parents report cases dragging out for over a decade, while Special Masters—essentially government-appointed judges—slash attorney fees, deny access to crucial vaccine safety data, and retaliate against expert witnesses who dare testify for the injured.

Congress, therefore, simultaneously created the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), which obliged HHS to compensate injured children. In the words of then Labor and Public Welfare Committee Chairman Senator Edward Kennedy, “when … children are the victims of an appropriate and rational national policy, a compassionate [g]overnment will assist them in their hour of need.”
Under the VICP, vaccine victims can petition for compensation to the so-called “Vaccine Court,” which pays out awards from a trust fund endowed by a 75-cent surcharge on every vaccine. Congress intended that injured children be compensated “quickly and fairly” for injuries, “either presumed or proven to be causally connected to vaccines,” with doubts about causation resolved in favor of the victim.
To date, the Vaccine Court has paid out $5.4 billion to 12,000 petitioners. But the VICP no longer functions to achieve its Congressional intent. Instead, the VICP has devolved into a morass of inefficiency, favoritism, and outright corruption as government lawyers and the Special Masters who serve as Vaccine Court judges prioritize the solvency of the HHS Trust Fund, over their duty to compensate victims. The structure itself hobbles claimants. The defendant is HHS, not the vaccine makers; and claimants are therefore facing the monumental power and bottomless pockets of the U.S. government represented by the Department of Justice.
Furthermore, most of the Special Masters come from government, legal, or political posts, and typically display an extreme bias that favors the government side.
There is no discovery, and the rules of evidence do not apply. The government lawyers do not allow children’s attorneys access to the Vaccine Safety Datalink, a taxpayer-funded CDC surveillance system that houses the best data on vaccine injuries.
Attorney compensation is in the hands of notoriously biased Special Masters and often hostile government attorneys, who can leverage this power to turn petitioner attorneys against their clients’ interests. The VICP routinely dismisses meritorious cases outright or drags them out for years. Instead of “quickly and fairly” awarding compensation, Special Masters dismiss over half of the cases.
Most of those that proceed typically take 5+ years to resolve, with many languishing for more than 10 years as parents struggle to care for children suffering with often extreme disabilities. Petitioners’ attorneys complain that the Special Masters make punitive downward adjustments to attorneys’ fees and medical expert fees to punish effective advocacy. Expert witnesses for injured children complain that they suffer intimidation and even threats that they will lose professional status or NIH funding if they testify for injured children.
The government pays its own medical expert witnesses promptly while simultaneously slow-walking payments for petitioners’ experts—sometimes for years. The VICP is broken, and I intend to fix it. I will not allow the VICP to continue to ignore its mandate and fail its mission of quickly and fairly compensating vaccine-injured individuals. I am grateful to be working with

A new BMJ Global Health study has confirmed that the World Health Organization’s (WHO) private fundraising arm—the WHO Foundation—has received tens of millions of dollars from pharmaceutical giants, Big Tech companies, and anonymous sources, with nearly half the funding now untraceable.
The study findings come after U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced the United States will reject the WHO’s sweeping emergency powers treaty, warning that the same unelected body now seeking “global medical surveillance of every human being.”
The BMJ Global Health study, published Wednesday, reads:
“From its launch until the end of 2023, the foundation disclosed total donation receipts of US$82 783 930 overall, of which US$39 757 326 (48.0%) was from anonymous donations over US$100 000. In total, US$51 554 203 (62.3%) in anonymous donations were reported.”
The top-named donor was the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, long considered one of WHO’s most influential funders:
“Donations varied by sector, with the largest named donations coming from the private philanthropic sector, including the Gates foundation and other family foundations, followed by social media companies, medical device companies and the banking/finance and pharmaceutical sectors.”
Secretary Kennedy recently cut off U.S. funding to Bill Gates’ vaccine syndicate Gavi, citing peer-reviewed evidence that the DTP shot it promotes “may kill more children from other causes than it saves,” and condemning the alliance for treating vaccine safety as a PR problem instead of a public health priority.
The WHO Foundation (WHOF), launched in 2020 to accept donations from entities the WHO cannot receive money from directly, now also counts Meta (Facebook), TikTok, Maybelline, Sanofi, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Novo Nordisk among its known funders:
A majority of funds aren’t even going to WHO programs—they’re going to the WHO Foundation’s own operational costs:
“The largest overall category, by amount donated, was ‘WHO Foundation Operational Support’, which received just under US$40 million over the entire reporting period, representing a majority (approximately 56%) of all funding received by the Foundation to date.”
Even more concerning is the Foundation’s sharp drop in transparency, with its public reporting now rated as poor as controversial “dark money” think tanks.
How can the WHO claim neutrality when it’s bankrolled by pharmaceutical giants, Big Tech firms under scrutiny for censorship, and tens of millions in dark money from anonymous sources?

Michael Flynn was personally targeted during a crucial Jan. 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting arranged by then-President Barack Obama, a newly declassified document shows.
On Jan. 20, 2017, as President Donald Trump was being inaugurated, former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice sent herself a bizarre email detailing the Jan. 5 meeting between her, Obama, then-Vice President Joe Biden, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and fired former Federal Bureau of Investigations Director James Comey. In the email, portions of which were not declassified until recently, Rice recorded that Flynn, who at the time was the incoming national security adviser for Trump, was personally discussed and targeted during the meeting with Obama.
Documents previously released and declassified showed that the FBI never possessed any evidence that Flynn was a secret Russian agent or that he had broken any laws. An FBI electronic communication closing the agency’s counterintelligence investigation against him, which was dated Jan. 4, made clear that “no derogatory information” about Flynn had been obtained during the months-long investigation of Flynn.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) recently determined that an ambush FBI interview of Flynn, which later formed the foundation of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s single charge against Flynn, had no legal basis. Contemporaneous handwritten notes from the FBI’s top counterintelligence official at the time show that the FBI’s goal in targeting Flynn in early 2017 was to “prosecute him or get him fired.” DOJ is currently in the process of dismissing all charges against Flynn, citing rank corruption and abuse of power in the FBI’s campaign against Flynn.

I get tons of responses along the lines of "They'll never listen."
acknowledge that the Steele Dossier was a hoax. (Most, not all, I know we still have those Japanese soldiers hiding on a remote Pacific island in 1970 still fighting for the Emperor.) Think about that for a second. The Steele Dossier was once the bedrock upon which Democrat Trump hate was built. But because we were relentless in exposing its lies, it’s now understood to be a total hoax. That means we can do the same with all the other Russiagate lies Democrats currently believe. Be kind, but be relentless. Show them facts. Make them understand the evil they have been supporting. Do not stop. And before you go all Doomster on me, who ever believed the Berlin Wall would fall?
