Europe’s Digital Euro Is Coming in 2029 

  • The European Central Bank is moving ahead with the digital euro and expects to begin a 12-month pilot during the second half of 2027. Thirty-six banks and payment providers have already been selected to participate, legislation is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, and the ECB intends to be ready for a potential first issuance during 2029. Brussels is spending approximately €1.3 billion to prepare the system, with projected operating costs of €320 million annually beginning in 2029, while pretending the final decision has not already been politically engineered.
  • The ECB insists the digital euro will never be “programmable money,” but in the same breath admits that it will facilitate “conditional payments.” This is the word game they always play. Programmable money is defined narrowly as currency restricted by where, when, or with whom it may be spent. Conditional payments, meanwhile, occur automatically only after predefined conditions have been satisfied. Brussels claims these are completely different concepts because the condition is attached to the payment service rather than the currency itself. To the person whose transaction is blocked until the system approves it, that distinction is meaningless.
  • The first examples sound harmless. A customer orders a product online, the money is reserved, and payment is released after delivery. Funds could be transferred according to milestones, pay-per-use arrangements, or other automated terms. That may offer convenience and reduce fraud, but the infrastructure does not possess morality. A system capable of withholding a payment until a commercial condition is satisfied can also withhold it until a regulatory, tax, identity, geographic, or political condition is satisfied. The technology only executes the rules written by those who control it.
  • The ECB also says the digital euro will complement rather than replace cash, just as every government program begins as voluntary before the alternatives are slowly made inconvenient, expensive, or unacceptable.

Yes. A U.S. central bank digital currency (CBDC, or “digital dollar” issued by the Federal Reserve) is currently banned. President Trump signed Executive Order 14178 in January 2025 prohibiting federal agencies from establishing, issuing, or promoting a CBDC and requiring any related plans to be terminated. In July 2026 this was strengthened by statute.

The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act (enacted July 11, 2026) amended the Federal Reserve Act to bar the Fed from issuing or creating a CBDC or any “substantially similar” digital asset, whether directly or through banks or other intermediaries, through December 31, 2030. After that date the Fed would still need explicit new authorization from Congress. Private stablecoins are carved out.

 

There was never an active retail CBDC project; the Fed had only done research and limited pilots. Current Fed leadership and the Treasury have also publicly opposed one. The ban is temporary, and some wholesale/tokenization research (such as participation in Project Agorá) has continued in limited form, but a publicly available retail CBDC for everyday use is prohibited.

The CBDC ban that became law was temporary (through the end of 2030) because a permanent ban could not get through the Senate on its own, so lawmakers used a compromise version as a rider on a popular bipartisan housing bill.

A permanent ban bill has been introduced but has not become law. The current prohibition can be renewed, allowed to expire, or changed by future Congresses and administrations.

  • Eight years of operations before the FBI shut it down. The court-authorized seizures made both platforms inoperable. The domains were hard-coded into the malware seize the domains, kill the tools. Attorney General Blanche called it “the latest in a series of technical operations to dismantle indiscriminate hacking activities sponsored by the People’s Republic of China.” He said the latest. Because this is the fourth year in a row.
  • In 2023, the FBI disrupted a botnet used by the Chinese group Volt Typhoon to hide its exploitation of U.S. critical infrastructure. In 2024, the FBI disabled a botnet of hundreds of thousands of infected devices run by the Chinese group Flax Typhoon. In 2025, the FBI removed surveillance malware from over 4,000 U.S. computers after they’d been infected by the Chinese group Mustang Panda. 2023. 2024. 2025. 2026.

Trump-Appointed Judge Blocks Governor Walz From Forcing Texas Gov Abbott to Extradite ICE Agent 

  • Earlier this year, Soros-funded prosecutor Mary Moriarty charged an ICE agent with the nonfatal shooting of a Venezuelan migrant she claimed was legally in the United States.
  • Moriarty charged the agent, identified as  Castro, with four counts of second-degree assault and one count of falsely reporting a crime.
  • Last Tuesday, Keith Ellison announced his office filed a lawsuit against Texas Governor Greg Abbott to force the extradition of an ICE agent involved in a shooting earlier this year.
  • A federal judge   blocked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz from forcing Texas Governor Greg Abbott to extradite an ICE agent who was charged by a Soros prosecutor.
  • US District Judge Fernando Rodriguez, a Trump appointee, blocked Walz from forcing Texas to extradite the ICE Agent.
  • “[The] Court concludes that Minnesota has failed to satisfy the requirements of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65 to warrant the issuance of a temporary restraining order,” the judge wrote.

Australian Social Media Ban Flops Badly, as Teens Are Returning to TikTok ‘En Masse’

  • “According to a report by parental-control tool company Qustodio, the Australian social media ban has been impressively ineffective.
  • […] Some 26% of children between the ages of 13 and 15 were on TikTok as of last month, just one percentage point below the rate prior to Australia’s groundbreaking rules coming into effect, the parental control software maker said. The rate for children between the ages of 10 and 12 is higher now than before the ban, according to the data.
  • What Qustodio found across Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat use, there was a distinct drop in use among 10-12 year olds and 13-15 year olds for a few weeks right when the ban started in December 2025. But after a few months, kids steadily got back on, nearing or matching pre-ban levels.”

Cyber criminals attack Manchester Airport Group

  • Manchester Airports Group (MAG) in the UK has become the latest airport to fall victim to a cyber-attack.
  • The attack, which is believed to have happened a few days ago, has led to the breach of data of around 8.7 million customers.
  • A statement issued by MAG today reads: “Manchester Airport Group has been subject to a cyber security incident by an unauthorised third party.
  • “A quantity of customer data has been obtained that relates to car park, lounge and Fast Track bookings and in-airport WIFI sign-ups at Manchester, Stansted, and East Midlands airports.

New: Trump Acts to End Foreign Threats to U.S. Power Grid

  • The Order declares a national emergency under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and the National Emergencies Act with respect to the unusual and extraordinary foreign threat to the United States involving bulk-power systems produced abroad that may present national security vulnerabilities.
  • To deal with the threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States, the Order, among other things, generally prohibits certain foreign-produced bulk-power system electric equipment, including associated critical software and digital capabilities that could pose cybersecurity or operational risks, from being purchased or installed in the United States, or appropriately conditions such purchases and installations to address those risks.
  • The Energy Policy Act of 2005 / Federal Power Act defines the bulk-power system as facilities and control systems necessary for operating an interconnected electric energy transmission network (or any portion of it), and electric energy from generation facilities needed to maintain transmission system reliability. Local generation and distribution centers are not covered under this act.

USAID report finds more than 100 UNRWA employees participated in Hamas atrocities on Oct. 7

  • The United States’ Agency for International Development’s Inspector General’s office announced Wednesday that it has referred more than 100 current or former employees of a United Nations relief agency to the State Department over their participation in the October 7 terror attacks in Israel.
  • The referrals include three people they suggested be debarred by the department, including a former United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees school teacher and Hamas operative who allegedly received and held civilian hostages beginning on October 7, 2023.

  • The new referrals come after the U.S. agency, which the Trump administration closed down last year, found in March that 14 UNRWA employees have been linked to Hamas.

  • Director Ratcliffe wasn’t simply telling Naryshkin not to hit back; he was telling Naryshkin that European NATO provocations against the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad (between Poland and Lithuania) were not ‘fully’ sanctioned by the United States. {CITATION Aug 18}
  • EU NATO members have been conducting provocative military operations and psychological warfare via NATO exercises all around Kaliningrad. They have been getting more aggressive with each series of maneuvers.  The Trump administration (DoW) recently removed the head of U.S-NATO operations over this background strategy. What the western media will not tell us is that Lt. Gen. Charles Costanza, commander of the Army’s V Corps, was removed from command over this planned operation {citation Aug 7}.
  • Apparently, European NATO is increasingly trying to provoke expanded conflict with Russia, while President Trump and CIA Director John Ratcliffe attempt to tamp down the problems being created. 
  • All of this is very alarming to say the least.  Europe is essentially doing everything they can to provoke Russia into a retaliatory posture, while the USA is telling Russia not to retaliate.  This is how wars get expanded.  However, Russia doesn’t pretend not to know things.

DOJ Moves to Confiscate Iran Oil As Legal War Prize 

  • During the Revolutionary War and before, war at sea was fought with some very different presumptions. The crews of warships were often as not paid in part by prize money, money earned from the ships and cargoes they captured. This process was handled by something called a maritime prize court. These courts would adjudicate the legality of any ship and cargo seizures under existing maritime law; they could also order the sale of ships and cargoes, with the proceeds going to the ship’s company.
  • The recipients of prize money weren’t always regular navy forces, either. Governments, including the newly formed United States government, would, in those times, issue something called a letter of marque, authorizing privately owned warships to hunt enemy ships on the high seas; these ships and their companies were called privateers. And, yes, the unfortunate side effect of that was that some of the privateers, when the war they were authorized to help fight ended, turned to piracy.
  • Now, though, the Department of Justice may be reactivating the maritime prize courts, something the United States has not done since our Civil War.

The Justice Department is preparing to activate a long-dormant maritime war court to streamline military capture of Iranian oil tankers as US prizes, according to three people familiar with the plans.

Reviving prize courts, which is expected to face legal challenges, is intended to strengthen the blockade of Iran and offset the cost of the conflict.

Aaron Reitz, the Houston-based US attorney whose office is partnering with department headquarters on the initiative, confirmed DOJ is “now reviving” prize courts, which he described as an “ancient body of maritime law.”

The unfinalized plans, if adopted, would offer a faster path for federal prosecutors to claim oil and other cargo taken from enemy or neutral vessels as US property. The seized goods would then be sold with proceeds transferred to the treasury.

That’s probably for the best; perverse incentives may ensue if ships’ companies started receiving payouts based on the value of cargoes seized.   •  The Court did leave open a narrower path: a challenge grounded in the Postal Service’s actual rule rather than the order that spawned it. Wednesday’s lawsuit takes that path. 
  • Trump’s executive order requires the United States Postal Service to match every mail ballot against a federal list of eligible voters before being sent out. While it looks like commonsense election integrity to most, Democratic state officials argue that such a list effectively gives the Trump administration control over who receives a ballot ahead of November, a role the states insist belongs to them. A dozen Republican-leaning states, who filed their own brief in that appeal in support of the federal government, noted that the rule still gives states the role of shaping the final voter lists.
  • California Attorney General Rob Bonta is leading the suit along with the attorneys general of Nevada, Washington, and Massachusetts. The full plaintiff list runs longer: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin all joined, along with the District of Columbia. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, also appears as a plaintiff.
  • They argue that complying with the order would be costly due to the need to redesign ballot envelopes and to build a data pipeline to USPS from scratch, on a deadline measured in weeks rather than months.

DHS Requires States to Adopt Common-Sense Election Security Measures Before Receiving Federal Funds

 

  • To strengthen election security, the Department of Homeland Security is requiring all grant recipients to take several key actions:
  • First, states must submit a plan for transitioning away from unsecure electronic voting systems that use bar codes and QR codes to count votes and instead use equipment that accepts hand-marked paper ballots. This change helps create a necessary and reliable paper trail, making it easier to verify results and detect any irregularities.
  • Second, after each federal election, states must conduct a manual audit of at least 5% of all ballots cast. This common-sense process involves physically reviewing a random selection of ballots to confirm that the machine reported results match results on the paper ballots. This will ensure accuracy and detect any machine errors or manipulation.
  • Third, states are required to reconcile the number of voters who participated in each federal election with the number of ballots cast. This step ensures that the number of ballots cast matches the number of voters, a common-sense step that will help jurisdictions identify discrepancies prior to certification.
  • Fourth, within 120 days of accepting the grant award, states must use the reliable and free U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system to verify the citizenship status of everyone listed in the state voter registration database. This measure helps ensure that only eligible citizens are registered to vote.

  • Finally, states must also use the SAVE system, or another authorized government system, to verify the citizenship of anyone working at polling places or operating election systems. This requirement applies to all individuals involved in the administration of elections, further protecting the process from potential vulnerabilities.
  • FEMA will withhold 20% of the grant recipient’s total HSGP award until they submit proof of compliance with these requirements and the Department verifies that proof. Eligible applicants are encouraged to review the full Notice of Funding Opportunity for more information on the requirements and the process for submitting proof of compliance.
  • FEMA’s grant programs are voluntary. State, Tribal Nations, territorial, and local governments must apply to receive federal funding and agree to follow the grant’s terms and conditions. Any recipient of federal funding should expect accountability for how taxpayer dollars are spent.

  has been cleared at SCOTUS. Everybody is assuming no work on this has been done, that it’ll only start now. They’re about to find out while waiting for the SCOTUS ruling, nothing was standing still. The tech is already ready and in place, they have been waiting for the right time to roll it out.

4. The DOJ under Trump is making it crystal clear that whatever bullshit states wanted to pull in their federal primaries this year, the general election is going to be conducted according to federal law, and they continue to run federal elections in an illegal manner at their peril.

5. The ongoing declassifications will continue to build the case that while the US was under the control of a shadow government, the national security of our nation was greviously compromised, and there is no real election security.

6. It will continue to be revealed that the shadow government has been rigging elections both here in the US and abroad via the same compromised/unsecure elections systems controlled by the Shadow Government Intelligence Community, systems that have built-in back doors for access to swap out election results.

7. Things should be at a very nice boil around halfway through September, which is when I expect President Trump to declare a State of Emergency due to serious national security issues with the US elections infrastructure. When Trump does that, enough of the American public, R and D and I, will support his efforts to secure the elections and ensure they are free and fair, and not being run on the same old Shadow Government systems being ‘managed’ by the same shadow government contractors
