What is The Widow’s Tax and How Will It Affect Me?
- The widow/widower tax affects the income of the surviving spouse once their partner passes away.
- RS tax code treats married people very differently than single people. We have one set of tax rates for single people, and a separate set of rates for those that are married. Because of this, when a spouse dies, the surviving spouse will often face an increase in income taxes at the same time that their income actually declines.

Mueller went out of their way to proactively state that FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith worked under FBI legal supervision, not the Special Counsel’s supervision?
It seems clear in hindsight that Weissmann and Mueller knew the FBI misconduct that was likely to surface, as it has; so they made sure to position blame on FBI Director Chris Wray and FBI Legal Counsel Dana Boente back in March 2019.

- Mifsud hasn’t been heard from or seen since the spring of 2018.
- Italian news outlet Il Giornale suggested that according to sources within the Agrigento Public Prosecution office, Mifsud is believed to be dead.

Massive MS-13 bust: Officials charge 96 members in gang takedown
Authorities dealt a staggering blow to Long Island’s murderous MS-13 gang — busting 96 members and associates in the largest takedown of the notorious criminal group in New York state history, prosecutors announced Friday.
The arrests, all in Suffolk County, are the result of a nearly two-year county, state and federal investigation — and include nine cell, or “clique” leaders of the violent gang — virtually the gang’s entire presence in the county, officials said.
- The investigation also thwarted seven Long Island-based murder plots, officials said.
- And perhaps most importantly, the investigation prevented the El Salvador-based gang from getting a strong foothold on New York soil, according to Ray Donovan, special agent in charge of the DEA in New York.
- “We’ve learned that through this investigation MS-13 had plans for establishing an East Coast foundation here in New York for the gang, that will never happen,” he said.
