Spokespersons for @wef say “The Great Reset,” eating insects instead of meat, and “You’ll own nothing and be happy” are conspiracy theories, but they’re not. In fact, all of them originated @Davos and from WEF’s own website. But now, WEF is deleting them.https://t.co/wSSU4N24go

Davos draws record crowds, but its relevance is fading
- “I think Davos is totally irrelevant,” said Rana Foroohar, a Financial Times columnist, whose book “Homecoming” argues that a new shift toward localization is displacing the forces of globalization that have been dominant over the past half century.
- WEF makes the case that its conference allows decision makers to zoom out and collaborate, a challenge as they battle concurrent, compounding crises such as the pandemic, the soaring cost of living, climate change, food insecurity and war.

- The FED’s increases in interest rates are starting to impact the real estate market experts warn.
- As the Federal Reserve continues its hawkish market reset – which has contributed to a rise in interest and mortgage rates – real estate experts are sounding the alarm that “big trouble” lies ahead for the U.S. market.
“When you have a rise and increase in interest rates like we’ve had, that is a big problem for housing. Interest rates are like the mother’s milk of housing,” Pulte Capital CEO Bill Pulte told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo Thursday. “And if you cut it off, you’re in big trouble. And when you’ve had these massive increases in interest rates, it just puts a lot of things to a stop.”
One of the nation’s largest homebuilders, KB Home, released its Q4 report Wednesday which indicated more signs of housing weakness. According to the report, KB Home saw a 68% cancelation rate on new construction projects.
Mortgage rates also increased last week, with the 30-year rate rising to 6.48% and the 15-year mortgage coming in at 5.73%, up from 5.68% the week prior. Higher mortgage rates continue to test homebuyer affordability, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
- The cancellation rate on new construction is a big concern. Construction is always an industry that suffers during recessions. This is concerning for those in the banking and construction industries.
Political/Rights
- Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) introduced a House Bill criminalizing “conspiracy to commit white supremacy,” which includes criticism of non-white people which influences an individual to commit a hate crime.
- The legislation, H.R.61 “Leading Against White Supremacy Act of 2023,” introduced last Monday by Democratic congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, seeks to “prevent and prosecute white supremacy inspired hate crime and conspiracy to commit white supremacy inspired hate crime.”
- ”
- The bill would grant the department authority to “prosecute” persons engaged in such actions, with “records of white supremacy inspired hate crimes” maintained and annual reports provided.
- In response, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) accused Democrats of “making a mockery of the First Amendment.”
- “In case you weren’t aware of what the Democrats were prioritizing in the 118th Congress, just take a look,” she wrote. “When they’re not bankrupting our country, they’re busy making a mockery of the First Amendment.”
- “Who wants to tell her about the First Amendment?” asked conservative attorney Harmeet Dhillon.
- “Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee just introduced a bill that would make it a federal crime for White people, and White people only, to criticize mass immigration or to say anything that she claims would vilify ‘a non-White person or group,’” wrote one Twitter user.

NYC Mayor Says His City Has ‘No Room’ For Illegal Migrants During Border Visit
- New York City Mayor Eric Adams said his city is at capacity and has “no room” for illegal migrants during a visit to El Paso, Texas, over the weekend.
- Adams stressed that there’s misinformation going around that New York City is where illegal migrants can obtain housing and jobs,
- “We have to give people accurate information and that is what some of the centers are doing here. They are truly explaining to people that this is what’s happening in New York right now. And, New York, you go there, you’re going to be living in congregate settings, there is no more room in New York. That should be coordinated by our national government, not only done locally here by those NGOs, but it should be done by our national government. That is not happening,” Adams said Sunday.

U.S. bases that housed Afghan refugees told they had to pay the bill
- Eight military bases that housed nearly 45,000 Afghan refugees around the United States incurred more than $250,000 million in damages that rendered some buildings uninhabitable.
- A Texas Republican congressman whose district includes Fort Bliss, one of the bases that housed refugees through Operation Allies Welcome (OAW) in 2021, now wants to know why the El Paso installation and the other seven bases are expected to pick up the tab.
- “I am alarmed by how these bases will be required to cover the costs of these damages because of their efforts to support Afghan evacuees,” Rep. Tony Gonzales wrote in a letter this week to Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks and other Pentagon officials.
- “These entities are responsible for paying $103.1 million from their own budgets to cover damages caused by OAW, such as replenishing depleted stocks of medical equipment, repairing defective infrastructure, refilling the supply of consumable goods, and restoring basic facility items,” Mr. Gonzaleswrote.
- Fort Bliss and the other bases were left “completely depleted” by the flood of Afghan refugees, the congressman wrote, citing a recent report by the Defense Department’s inspector general, which said base officials were told they had to cover the cost of the damages.

- Katie Hobbs’ first budget proposal, released on Friday, January 13, calls for the defunding and total elimination of Arizona’s ‘Border Strike Force,’ $40 million for illegal immigrants to receive in-state tuition rates, and the repeal of a new school voucher law giving school choice to all families.
- As she removes tax breaks for American families, Hobbs calls for $40 million to be used on financial aid programs for illegal immigrants.
- State Representative Joseph Chapik tweeted, “Katie Hobbs isn’t serious about protecting the border and stopping human and drug trafficking,” then said her policies are “rolling out the red carpet to illegals.”
“It’s fitting she released this on Friday the 13th. It’s horrific,” tweeted Kari Lake.

Judge Rules That Laid Off Twitter Employees Can’t File Class-Action Lawsuit
- A judge has determined that laid-off Twitter employees cannot file a class action lawsuit against the platform or its new owner, Elon Musk.
- US District Judge James Donato found that instead of filing a group action, employees seeking to file claims will have to do so through individual arbitration.
- the judge cited agreements the former employees signed with the company in his decision.

1. New piece from the TWITTER FILES.
How the pharmaceutical industry lobbied social media to shape content around vaccine policy. The push included direct pressure from Pfizer partner BioNTech to censor activists demanding low-cost generic vaccines for low-income countries.
— Lee Fang (@lhfang) January 16, 2023
3. But global drug giants saw the crisis as an opportunity for unprecedented profit. Behind closed doors, pharma launched a massive lobbying blitz to crush any effort to share patents/IP for new covid-related medicine, including therapeutics and vaccines.
— Lee Fang (@lhfang) January 16, 2023
5. That brings us to Twitter. The global lobbying blitz includes direct pressure on social media. BioNTech, which developed Pfizer's vaccine, reached out to Twitter to request that Twitter directly censor users tweeting at them to ask for generic low cost vaccines. pic.twitter.com/6cVIRcUDZV
— Lee Fang (@lhfang) January 16, 2023
7. The potential "fake accounts" that Twitter monitored for protesting Pfizer? These were real people. Here's one the Twitter team flagged for potential terms of use violations. I talked to Terry, a 74 year old retired bricklayer in the UK on the phone. https://t.co/qIH0Tngsm1
— Lee Fang (@lhfang) January 16, 2023
9. In a separate push, Pfizer & Moderna's lobbying group, BIO, fully funded a special content moderation campaign designed by a contractor called Public Good Projects, which worked w/Twitter to set content moderation rules around covid "misinformation."
— Lee Fang (@lhfang) January 16, 2023
11. Many of the tweets the BIO-funded campaign focused on were truly unhinged misinfo, like claims that vaccines include microchips. But others Stronger lobbied Twitter on were more of a grey area, like vaccine passports & vaccine mandates, policies that coerce vaccination. pic.twitter.com/Xb9gcMxOLL
— Lee Fang (@lhfang) January 16, 2023
13. Notably, this massive push to censor and label covid misinfo never applied to drug companies. When big pharma wildly exaggerated the risks of creating low-cost generic covid vaccines, Stronger did nothing. The rules applied only to critics of industry. https://t.co/FTzQsGKM9i

- Joe Biden on Monday delivered remarks at the National Action Network Martin Luther King, Jr. Day breakfast.
- Biden attacked police officers and targeted law-abiding gun owners in his speech.
- . Joe Biden then threatened millions of conservatives.
- “I love my right-wing friends talking about how the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots. If you want to take on the federal government, you need some F-15s. You don’t need an AR-15,” Biden said.
- “I’m serious! Think about it!” he said.

So, he accidentally acknowledges that he is the type of illegitimate “tyrant” that the founders warned us about? Nice.
He’s making the opposite case of the one he thinks he’s making.
Those 200 Million AR-15s are keeping him and his commies at bay!
The ATF rule change on pistol braces is a deliberate attempt to register millions of AR15s onto a federal registry.
This is unacceptable.

False Flags
- Seems ironic that wealthy elitists would choose to avoid pilots who received the COVID shot considering the time they spent promoting how safe and effective the vaccine supposedly is. Yet according to a former commercial airline pilot, these individuals would rather take their chances with unvaccinated pilots.
- Alan Dana, a former pilot for Jetstar, a Singapore-based airline, went on “Maria Zeee Uncensored” last week and revealed that wealthy businessmen were actively seeking out pilots who had not received the vaccine. These unvaccinated pilots belong to the U.S. Freedom Flyers, an anti-vaccine mandate group formed after prominent airlines in America mandated the shot.

House GOP lawmakers eye their renewed congressional power to defund special counsel pursuing Trump
- House Republicans this month reinstated a rule that allows Congress to cut the salary of anyone working for the federal government, and some hope to slash the pay of Jack Smith, the special counsel investigating former President Donald Trump.
- Republicans have in mind plenty of federal employees they would like to stop paying as they try to reduce the size and scope of government, but Mr. Smith may top the list.

White House counsel says visitor logs for Biden Delaware home do not exist
- There are no visitor logs kept of people who come to President Joe Biden‘s Delaware home, the location where two of three batches of classified documents were found.
- White House counsel said on Sunday that since becoming president, Biden has not maintained records of those who have visited his residence, White House spokesman Ian Sams said to the Associated Press.
source: washingtonexaminer.com
The Secret Service does background checks on everyone who meets with the president, but the White House wants you to believe there's no visitor log at Biden's Wilmington home.
Reminder, Biden has spent 1/4 of his entire presidency in Delaware.

- Trump is insinuating that the Deep State have a Classified Doc laundering operation. They store the classified docs at an insecure and unmonitored location, sell access to the location (garage/UPenn office, etc.) so there is no direct hand off of documents, plausible deniability.
- There’s no record, log, or camera footage of who had access to these documents. Biden acts like he didn’t know the docs were there, when in fact, they were selling access to State secrets.
- Biden compromised NATSEC.
Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
- The White House just announced that there are no LOGS or information of any kind on visitors to the Wilmington house and flimsy, unlocked, and unsecured, but now very famous, garage. Maybe they are smarter than we think! This is one of seemingly many places where HIGHLY CLASSIFIED documents are stored (in a big pile on the damp floor). Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!
Biden just put Obama in a delightfully serious bind
- The headline is delicious: Vice President Biden left the White House taking classified documents with him. However, what’s really lovely is the problem this creates for Obama: After all, he’s the only one who can rescue Biden but, by doing so, he will completely exonerate Trump of the charges that the latter violated national security laws by taking documents with him when he left the White House.
- What I find so delectable is that Biden has only one defense to the charge that he stole classified documents from the White House, which is a felony (as Democrats never failed to remind us when the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago). That defense is that Obama, who was president when Biden took the documents, gave him permission to take them, effectively declassifying them.
- This defense works because the President of the United States is the ultimate authority about whether to declassify documents. Moreover, as I never tire of saying, the president doesn’t need to go through any rubberstamp process, nor does he need to consult with the bureaucrats who work for him. Basically, he has the power, whether through words (“Here, Joe, take these classified documents with you when you leave the White House”) or actions (stuffing the documents in his own briefcase), to declassify them instantly, with nothing more required.
- This is because the president—and only the president—has what’s called “plenary” power over national security matters, including document classification and de-classification. The Supreme Court articulated what’s currently the last and best word on the subject in Navy v. Egan, 484 U.S. 518 (1988), a case examining whether a civil service board could review someone’s being denied a national security clearance, a power it came to via a congressional act.
- The Supreme Court gave an unequivocal “no,” based in part on the fact that the executive office is the final word on classification:
The President, after all, is the “Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States.” U.S.Const., Art. II, § 2. His authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security and to determine whether an individual is sufficiently trustworthy to occupy a position in the Executive Branch that will give that person access to such information flows primarily from this constitutional investment of power in the President, and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant. See Cafeteria Workers v. McElroy, 367 U. S. 886, 367 U. S. 890 (1961).
- There is only one way to say that Biden is innocent, and that is for Obama to announce, “I told Joe he could take the documents.” However, if Obama makes that announcement, he has conceded, and all the Dems will be forced to concede, that a president can declassify documents simply by walking them out of the White House or authorizing someone else to do so.
- In other words, to exonerate Biden, Obama must also exonerate Trump from the disgraceful, deeply (criminally?) dishonest charge leveled against Trump.

If President Biden mentioned the F15/AR15 analogy in the last few days then I believe that he made the same analogy about a month ago. So to me, it isn’t something that he is saying off the cuff but something that he truly believes in his daily view of life.
Chicago Crime Czar Al “Scarface” Capone was found guilty on 3 of 23 counts of federal income-tax evasion (22) and conspiracy in violation of prohibition laws (1) where he spent 7 of an 11 year sentence in Federal Prison. He was released early from prison due to illness (late stage syphilis) and eventually died at his Florida home of a heart attack. That’s how they finally got him. Not for murder, gambling, prostitution rings, drug trafficking, kidnapping or money laundering. It was tax evasion. It’s interesting that britannica.com updated Capone’s bio 3 days ago (1/13/2023). I wonder why.
Nice explanation/reminder of what the 2nd Amendment is, and what it does for us.
