Audit Reveals That Commiefornia Doesn’t Have Any Idea What Its Homeless Programs Cost or if They Even Work 

  •  California lacks information on the costs or efficacy of its homelessness programs, despite allocating billions of dollars to them, a report released by the state auditor’s office on Tuesday found.
  • California Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH) is responsible for coordinating and evaluating the efforts of California’s state agency in reducing homelessness. ICH, however, “has not consistently tracked and evaluated” the state’s efforts to prevent and end homelessness and, as a result, California “lacks current information on the ongoing costs and outcomes of its homelessness programs,” according to a report from the California State Auditor.
  • The homeless population in California has grown from 118,552 in 2013 to 181,399 in 2023, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. California has allocated almost $24 billion to homelessness and housing services over the past five fiscal years, according to the California Legislative Analyst’s Office.

  • ICH has not tracked this funding, according to the auditor’s report. State funding for homelessness programs either goes to counties, cities or third parties who then provide services for the homeless on its behalf, the report explains. Sometimes cities and counties will themselves pass off state funding to third parties to run homelessness programs, and those third parties sometimes pass off the funding to subcontractors.

Although no significant “cyber runs” have occurred thus far, our analysis suggests modest and somewhat persistent deposit outflows have occurred at smaller US banks after a cyberattack.

Hollywood’s Attempt to Further Normalize Anti-White Racism Falls Flat

America isn’t the racist country it’s being sold as by the social justice left, and that’s not just because people aren’t lining up to see it generally. It’s because black people aren’t lining up to see it either. If that film resonated with the black community, there’d be a lot more fervor about it, not just from the black community itself but from the media.

Lloyd Austin Pushes Back On Genocide Claims In Gaza

Everything that’s wrong — and right — with Trump’s possible plan for Ukraine  

  • Trump’s reported plan for ending the Russia-Ukraine war sounds delusional. It might be our best bet.
  • But through it all, Trump has been consistent on one thing: The war should end sooner than later, ideally immediately. During a May 2023 CNN town hall, he stated that he wanted Russians and Ukrainians alike “to stop dying” and that striking a deal was the only way to do it. He has bragged repeatedly that he could hammer out a peace deal in 24 hours, even as he refuses to articulate his strategy for pulling off such a feat.
  • We now possibly know more details of Trump’s proposed Russia-Ukraine strategy, as reported by The Washington Post over the weekend. The Post cites people who discussed the plan with Trump or his advisers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity about confidential conversations and suggest Trump would plan to push Ukraine to hand over control of Crimea and the Donbas region to Russia in any future settlement, in effect codifying the gains Putin has made in his illegal invasion. In return, Putin would have to stop the war for good.
  • Are there problems with Trump’s reported land-for-peace idea? No question. But as the war goes on, the realistic alternatives are becoming more difficult to spot.

The file oddly made no mention of Capitol Police Officer Lt. Michael Byrd but instead generally stated Babbitt was “shot by police.”

    Earth — Definition: The term “earth” is used in more than one sense in the Scriptures. Usually we think of it as referring to the planet itself, which Jehovah generously endowed so that it could sustain human life with a view to making our lives richly satisfying. It should be realized, however, that “earth” also may be used in a figurative sense, referring, for example, to people living on this planet or to a human society that has certain characteristics.
    Will planet Earth be destroyed in a nuclear war?
    What does the Bible show to be God’s purpose regarding the earth?
    Matt. 6:10: “Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.”
    Ps. 37:29: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”
    See also Ecclesiastes 1:4; Psalm 104:5.
    Is there a possibility that, since the nations show little regard for God’s purpose, they might completely ruin the earth for habitation anyway?
    Isa. 55:8-11: “[The utterance of Jehovah is:] As the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. . . . My word . . . will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.” – Almighty Jehovah God does not make mistakes and cannot tell a lie. His absolute perfection guarantees these things. We, on the other hand, are imperfect because of the actions of Adam, our first father on this earth. That is why this is in the Bible as well; Jeremiah 10:23 I well know, O Jehovah, that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. — We are told in the Bible this truth; it does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. Think deeply on this Bible Truth; man cannot direct his step, so how well has it worked out with men directing nations with millions of people depending on how they guide us? The history of this world is filled with anger, hatred, wars and very little goodness even in our families. The Great Tribulation is next. Please get ready because the REAL problems are just now starting, but those problems must occur first so that Jehovah God can return the earth, AND US, to our original planned perfection.     The book MONEY by James E. Ewart offers an excellent overview of the history of MONEY and currency in America. Fed Notes are interest bearing debt instruments, not MONEY. The DOLLAR is a measurement, not a value. MONEY is minted, currencies are printed. Whereas Notes were first issued as a Promise to Pay a specific quantity of MONEY to the bearer on demand, fractionalized banking has removed real MONEY from circulation. Crypto is a digitized form of currency that serves as a conveyance of a claim upon value. The minting of MONEY and a printing or digitization of currency is a public trust, not a Private Interest. Fundamentally, sound MONEY stabilizes and upholds the purchasing power of wages, earned savings and pensions. Interest on the national debt has debased (deflated) both MONEY and labor’s role in a production of wealth.

    Note: You’ll recall when a bottomless cup of coffee was one silver dime. And the Nickel? This was one of the most popular coins in American history.
