Hong Kong Retail Sales Suffer “Very Enormous” Crash As Tourism Collapses 

  • Hong Kong’s retail industry crashed again in October, as the city spirals lower into a recession that could lead to a collapse of the economy, reported Reuters.
  • Retail sales in October plunged 24.3% YoY, according to government data published on Monday. This was by far the worst print on record as the tourism industry in the last six months has evaporated.

  • GDP data was revised lower for full-year growth to -1.3%. That marked the first annual decline since 2009.

  • Chinese Mainlanders and tourists from across the world have canceled bookings, as retailers have been severely damaged from crashing sales, and the stock market continues to trend lower, which has been compounded by the ongoing trade war between the US and China.

  • President Trump said  he doesn’t have a deadline for reaching a trade agreement with China and “in some ways” it might be better to wait until after the 2020 election to reach a deal.

WTO ruling says EU has failed to end illegal Airbus subsidies

  • A World Trade Organization panel ruled  that the European Union has not complied with an order to end illegal subsidies for plane maker Airbus, which prompted the Trump administration to impose tariffs on nearly $7.5 billion US worth of EU goods in October.
  • In its ruling, a WTO compliance panel found that the EU had not taken sufficient steps to end harm to Boeing, the major rival to Europe’s Airbus. The EU is expected to appeal, though the United States is on the cusp of preventing the WTO’s appeals court — the Appellate Body — from ruling on any new appeals.

  • This win sets the stage for President Trump to deploy $7.5 billion in countervailing duties against products from the EU.  Keep in mind, a final WTO ruling means the EU cannot retaliate against any WTO-authorized countermeasures.  The downstream ramifications are very significant. Think about it: at 25% the U.S. could tariff $30 billion in EU goods
  •  The Trump administration slapped 25% tariffs on French wine, Italian cheese and single-malt Scotch whisky — but spared Italian wine, pasta and olive oil — in retaliation for European Union subsidies on large aircraft.
  • The U.S. Trade Representative’s Office released a list of hundreds of European products that will get new tariffs, including cookies, salami, butter and yogurt – but in many cases applied to only some EU countries, including German camera parts and blankets produced in the United Kingdom.
  • The list includes UK-made sweaters, pullovers, cashmere items and wool clothing, as well as olives from France and Spain, EU-produced pork sausage and other pork products other than ham, and German coffee. The new tariffs are to take effect as early as Oct. 18.
  • The U.S. Trade Representative’s Office said it would “continually re-evaluate these tariffs based on our discussions with the EU” and expects to enter talks in a bid to resolve the dispute. (more)
  • What makes this even more excellent is the timing for Brexit.  If Boris Johnson can get out of the EU without strings Trump can use these WTO-authorized tariffs to position a UK trade deal with the U.S. as a trade superhighway.  Incredibly this WTO decision plays right into the hand of President Trump’s global trade realignment.
  •   Trump’s goal is reciprocity; however, the EU and Asia, specifically China, don’t want to give up a decades-long multi-generational advantage. This is part of their fight.

  • The House Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hold its first impeachment hearing on Wednesday with four witnesses.
  • The four ‘witnesses’ have never actually witnessed any of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine firsthand — the four witnesses are law professors and are expected to offer legal analysis.
  • The Democrats want to impeach President Trump by Christmas, however, there is an internal debate as red-state Dems push back against impeachment and want to keep the investigation focused only on Ukraine.

Developing: ICIG Atkinson Refuses to Answer GOP Senator’s Formal Request on ‘Whistleblower’ Ciaramella’s Far Left Bias

  • Senator Tom Cotton sent a letter on October 9th to Michael Atkinson, Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, after his dishonest testimony before the Senate Select Committee on September 26th.

  • The letter outlines five outstanding questions Senator Cotton has for Inspector General Atkinson and asks him to reply no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11.

  1. Does the complainant have (or did he once have) a professional relationship with a Democratic presidential candidate or campaign?
  2. If so, which candidate or campaign and what is the nature of that relationship?
  3. What other “indicia of arguable political bias” of the complainant did you find?
  4. Did you or anyone subject to your control or influence share with CNN that the “arguable political bias” was merely that the complainant is a registered Democrat?
  5. Why did you refuse to answer my questions at the September 26 hearing?

 

It has now been nearly two months since IG Atkinson was called on by the US Senate to answer their questions on the bias of whistleblower.

According to Paul Sperry, Atkinson refuses to comply with the Senator’s request.

The FISA Report Due Out Monday Will Be Damning – We Already Listed Several FISA Related Crimes from Previous Reports

  •  It’s likely that the DOJ IG Horowitz will address a number of issues, some we already know.
  • How do we know this
  • On April 26, 2017, an unsealed FISA Court Ruling unveiled a number of criminal activities that Barack Obama’s FBI and DOJ participated in during his time in office.  The report to date received little attention.  Now interest is brewing due to the recent actions of Congress and the report that is expected to be released in the upcoming weeks.
  • The FISA Court Ruling shows widespread abuse of the FISA mandate. According to the report, Obama’s FBI and DOJ performed searches on Americans that were against their 4th Amendment rights.  This went on for years.  One paragraph in the report states that 85% of the Section 704 and 705(b) FISA searches made during this time were non-compliant with applicable laws and therefore criminal.

FISA 705 warrants deal with US citizens outside of the country.

  • In addition, the report cites that at the same time that Obama’s DOJ and FBI were illegally searching Americans against their rights and unbeknownst to them, Obama’s FBI was providing this information to outside contractors who had no business or legal cause or claim the information.
  • It’s been leaked over the past few weeks that at least one attorney at the FBI made fraudulent edits to a FISA application.  His name was Kevin Clinesmith.

Grand Jury Indicts Ed Buck on Drug Trafficking Offenses, including Giving Methamphetamine to 2 Victims Who Suffered Fatal Overdoses

  •       Edward Buck was indicted  by a federal grand jury on a series of narcotics distribution offenses, including providing methamphetamine to two men who died after being injected with the drug.
  •           Buck, a 65-year-old West Hollywood resident, was named in a five-count indictment that charges him with two counts of distributing methamphetamine resulting in death.
  •           The indictment alleges that Buck provided methamphetamine to Gemmel Moore, who overdosed on the drug and died on July 27, 2017, and Timothy Dean, who also suffered a fatal overdose in Buck’s apartment, on January 7, 2019.
  •           Each of the charges alleging the distribution of narcotics resulting in death carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in federal prison and a maximum penalty of life without parole.

Trump Asks French President Emmanuel Macron, ‘Would You Like Some Nice ISIS Fighters?’

  • Trump suggested during a bilateral meeting with Macron at the 2019 NATO Summit that France should be taking in more ISIS fighters after they are captured in the Middle East. The issue has been a source of tension for the two countries, as the president believes the ISIS fighters should be returned to and put on trial by their home countries rather than handled by the U.S.  
  • Macron was not amused by the question, responding, “let’s be serious.”
  • The French president went on to say that fighters who come from Europe rather than the Middle East are a “tiny” proportion of ISIS, and disputed Trump’s assertion that the terror group has been defeated. Macron said eliminating ISIS is France’s priority.
  • Trump shot back, “This is why he is a great politician because that was one of the greatest non-answers I have ever heard, and that’s OK.”

    And still no senior Obama admin officials or MSM traitors have been indicted for sedition/treason. No military tribunals. We are officially a Banana Republic. Lock and load, citizens. Its obvious our own government ain’t gonna clean things up. The massive theft and corruption continues. We will have to deal with the scum ourselves just as Thomas Jefferson predicted (“the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots”).

    Dear Mr. F. DiTullio,

    If I may be so bold, do you wish to be the next Crispus Attucks? If so, by all means please proceed and lead the way of martyrdom. The Deep State and their controlled LEOs will be happy use you as an example, squash you like a bug on their windshield sadly and afterwards you will be branded a terrorist, equated to a villain and traitor to this nation by the MSM. Yea, that sucks, but then again reality of the situation does suck sometimes doesn’t it?

    SO! Unless you’ve got a line on about 1 million patriots to be called up on in a moment’s notice for a standing civilian militia at your command… I’ll take my chances, trust the plan from Q and wait to see what comes, till the 2020 elections at least. By then all bets will be off anyway, on both sides and the gloves will certainly come off from [DS] by then if Trump stays in office.

    Unless Trump is somehow ousted from office (impeachment, highly unlikely) or loses due to Democrap voter fraud in 2020,(far more likely) he and Q (Military Intel) are still the best bets we have for a bloodless revolution to overturn this subversive coup and communist insurrection of this nation. As I’ve stated several times, the subversion of this nation didn’t happen overnight and it’s going to take till at least well into next year before justice is finally truly served according to Q’s timeframe for how things are going to go down.

    As I say, unless you’ve got a better plan than Q’s… I’ve already long prepared for your option “B”, as have many other patriots have done since Obama was in office. But you must understand this very well… Once Pandora’s box is opened, it will NOT get closed back, period.

    What will happen after the 2nd shot heard around the world here in the US then will be nothing more than a whistle to all of our enemies worldwide, not just Deep State elements here in the US. They will ALL come here and surely contribute to our DEMISE. It will be a war between we the Patriots of this nation and enemies domestic and abroad, the majority of the world… Russia, China, even Muslim nations I suspect will certainly try to come here to get a piece of the action, plunder and real estate, all under the wonderful guise of the U.N., with their contemptible and laughable “Kigali Principles” as their “excuse”.

    So, please tell us of your magnificent plans to destroy [DS] if you think Q is a LARP and you think you have a better plan, I’m all ears!
