Thus during a firestorm CA shuts its power grid down, not to keep the infrastructure from failing, but to hide the fact that the 30% of power they depend on from wind turbines is no longer available. Frozen turbines also do not work. As one of a group of entrepeneurs who built the first solar energy demonstration lab in CA in 1971, I can tell you that trying to rely on green energy is a complete disaster. Ask South Australia.
