The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been collecting domestic intelligence, including through interviews with people held in migrant detention centers, jails and prisons, sparking widespread concern among DHS employees that the program was illegal, according to documents obtained by Politico.
The Overt Human Intelligence Collection Program collected domestic intelligence for years, allowing officials to seek voluntary interviews with nearly anyone in the U.S., including incarcerated people, whom officials could access without first going through their lawyers,

A detailed online report found that the Biden Administration was working through Samantha Power, the administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, to censor alternative media by utilizing the International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM) through the administration’s Presidential Initiative for Democratic Renewal.

IFPIM.org reported:

Former Obama UN Ambassador Samantha Power is currently serving under Joe Biden as the administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
In a now-deleted USAID memo Samantha Power announced how she was pleased that USAID was partnering with the IFPIM in April 2022 after Joe Biden announced his $30 million infusion into the organization months earlier.

This USAID webpage has since been deleted.
In the above memo USAID administrator Samantha Power admitted that she was partnering with IFPIM co-Administrators Ms. Maria Ressa and Colin Crowell, on effective tools to address “disinformation.”
In other words, the Biden administration admitted in the now-deleted press release that they were partnering with the IFPIM to censor free speech at home and on a global scale. Power also admits she is “holding major social media and technology companies accountable for the spread of falsehoods on their platforms.”

The Biden administration gave tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to a Global Disinformation Index partner and funder.

Whistleblower: FBI’s D.C. Office Tried To Sic Local Agents On Innocents After Bank Of America Volunteered Gun Records

‘Bank of America, with no directive from the FBI, datamined its customer base,’ whistleblower George Hill told the House Judiciary Committee.

An FBI whistleblower told congressional investigators that the D.C. field office pushed local offices to open criminal investigations into Americans based solely on financial transactions Bank of America tracked and voluntarily provided to the bureau, according to testimony reviewed by The Federalist.
“Bank of America, with no directive from the FBI, datamined its customer base,” whistleblower and recently retired FBI supervisory intelligence analyst George Hill told investigators for the House Judiciary Committee, according to Hill’s testimony.
According to the material reviewed, Hill testified that on either Jan. 7 or 8, 2021, Bank of America provided the FBI’s D.C. field office a “huge list” of individuals who used Bank of America credit or debit cards in D.C., or the surrounding Maryland and Virginia areas, on Jan. 5, 6, or 7, 2021. Bank of America then elevated to the top of the list anyone who had ever (through Jan. 6, 2021) used a Bank of America product to purchase a firearm.
The D.C. field office, which oversaw the Jan. 6 investigation, distributed the Bank of America list internally to field offices throughout the country, Hill testified in his deposition. Hill further explained that his supervisor at the Boston field office refused to open an investigation on the individuals flagged on the list because there was “no predication.” “There’s no crime that was committed by using a [Bank of America] product in the District or around the District,” Hill testified, explaining his supervisor’s reasoning for why no “further action” was required.
But the D.C. field office pushed back, according to Hill. The D.C. field office told Boston’s supervisory special agent, or SSA, he needed to open up the cases. When the local office’s SSA refused, the D.C. field office threatened to call the assistant special agent in charge, or ASAC, of the local office, Hill told the congressional committee. The SSA stood firm in his refusal, as did the local ASAC, Hill said, even though the D.C. field office then threatened the ASAC that it would escalate the matter to the office’s special agent in charge, or SAC.

How Corporations Launder Their Race Discrimination Through Third Parties Corporations are free to pursue ‘woke’ policies, but there is no justice in laundering intentional race discrimination through third parties.

the World Economic Forum encouraged business leaders to turn their companies into “corporate activists: companies that take concrete action” to change society. And many of the largest companies heeded this call, setting up their own racial-justice programs.
Amazon, for example, created its own program called the “Black Business Accelerator,” a program offering a “suite of resources” only to black-owned businesses. Other businesses — those owned by whites, Asians, and Hispanics — were ineligible for the Accelerator. Amazon also created a second program, the “Impact Accelerator: Black Founders” program, which offered much more — up to $225,000 in grants to black-owned businesses.
Comcast, America’s second-largest media company, started the RISE program, which offered small-business owners technology makeovers, marketing services, and millions of dollars of grants. These benefits were available free of charge to selected recipients, but white male business owners were ineligible for the program.
This new aggressive form of social-justice spending — corporate-run programs designed to help only certain minorities — faced scrutiny in the courts because federal and state laws prohibit racially discriminatory programs like this. Amazon was sued twice, once over a $10,000 grant given to nonwhite delivery service drivers, and then again over the Black Business Accelerator.
In response to this growing litigation, corporations have changed tactics: Many now launder their race discrimination through third-party organizations. Visa, for example, touts an entrepreneur program called the “Visa Entrepreneurship Program.” The program is available only for “Black and African American entrepreneurs to grow their ideas.” But contrary to website branding, Visa doesn’t run this program. A Delaware-based public benefit corporation called Bridge for Billions designs and manages so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. Bridge for Billions runs these DEI programs on behalf of corporations like Visa. The Bridge for Billions website touts Chanel, Coca-Cola, Salesforce, and Heineken as corporations that “trust us” with their social-justice programs.
Softbank — one of the world’s largest corporations — promotes its SB Opportunity Fund, which is described as an “uncapped evergreen fund” investing in new startups, but only black, Latino, and Native American startups. Softbank, apparently realizing that handing out contracts based on race is illegal under federal law, has outsourced this project to a separate, Florida-based company called SB Opportunity Fund Manager, LLC.

UPDATE: Atlanta Police Release Footage of Antifa Terror Attack on Future Cop Training Center in Atlanta – Cops Say 35 Militants Detained So Far (VIDEO)

On March 5, 2023, a group of violent agitators used the cover of a peaceful protest of the proposed Atlanta Public Safety Training Center to conduct a coordinated attack on construction equipment and police officers. They changed into black clothing and entered the construction area and began to throw large rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at police officers.
The agitators destroyed multiple pieces of construction equipment by fire and vandalism. Multiple law enforcement agencies deployed to the area and detained several people committing illegal activity. 35 agitators have been detained so far.

Kevin O’Leary is an internationally recognized leader and pundit in business and investing. In a few recent media appearances, he has claimed that blue states like Massachusetts, New York, California and others have become uninvestable.

Freedom of Information Request looks into Biden administration using 3rd party grants to push online censorship

America First Legal (AFL) has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for records of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) related to contracts and grants to third parties to censor COVID-19 “misinformation” and criticism of the Biden administration’s response to the pandemic.
The HHS does not have the authority to regulate content or censor misinformation of any kind. However, it has been using grants and contracts to get third parties to do so on its behalf.
It has awarded millions of dollars in grants to fight what it deems “misinformation.” For instance, last October, it awarded a $1.1 million grant to the University of Texas to “better understand patterns of misinformation in social media” with the study focusing on misinformation related to Covid testing and vaccines.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which is under the HHS, posted a grant opportunity for “Developing a Public Health Tool to Predict the Virality of Vaccine Misinformation Narratives.” The tool would be used to “predict misinformation trends.”

House Democrats are livid that President Biden is going to nix a Washington DC crime bill that would reduce the penalties for violent crimes such as carjackings and robberies.
The bill, which was unanimously passed by the District of Columbia City Council in January, was vetoed by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser.
The Council then overrode Bowser by a 12-1 vote, but because DC isn’t a state, this type of legislation must instead be approved by Congress – and then signed by the President, before it can become law.
Last month the GOP-controlled House threw a wrench in the Democrats’ plans, voting 250-173 for a Republican-sponsored resolution to overturn the DC crime bill. All but 31 Democrats voted for it, meaning most Democrats wanted to reduce the penalties for violent crimes in DC.
But on Thursday, Biden announced that he would sign the resolution to block the DC bill – thus maintaining the status quo when it comes to penalizing crime in DC.
And Democrats are livid…

The FBI’s Washington Field Office requested the Boston Field Office open investigations into 140 individuals who took buses from Massachusetts to D.C. on Jan. 6., but denied the office’s request to see video proving those individuals were inside the Capitol, FBI whistleblower George Hill said during a Feb. 10 interview with the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. The office claimed they needed to “protect” the identity of possible undercover agents, according to Hill.
The WFO responded that there “may be” undercover officers or confidential human sources “on those videos whose identity we need to protect,” according to Hill, who said he heard the conversation firsthand.

Hawley starts off by blistering Garland over how the corrupt FBI raided pro-life advocate Matt Houck’s house with guns drawn in front of his terrified children. The FBI arrested him over supposedly shoving an abortion clinic worker.
Houck was found not guilty of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and now plans to sue the FBI.
The case against Houck was so frivolous that even Marxist Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner declined to prosecute him. But Garland moved forward.
Hawley: You used an unbelievable show of force with guns, that I’d just note liberals usually decry…You’re happy to deploy them against Catholics and innocent children!

Hunter Biden’s criminal defense attorney, Joshua Levy, has quit the ‘first son’s’ legal team amid an environment of “unease and dissent” among the 4-lawyer legal team.
Levy’s departure came after the addition of Abbe Lowell, who is also on Hunter’s team, and was hired in December to defend Hunter and the Biden family amid nine congressional probes which include wire fraud and money laundering.

Democrat Maryland Mayor Resigns One Day Before Being Arrested on 56 Child Pornography Charges

The Democrat mayor of College Park, Maryland, resigned from the position one day before being arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography.
Disgraced mayor Patrick Wojahn, 47, was arrested on Thursday after stepping down on Wednesday.
Wojahn is facing a total of 56 charges related to child pornography.
Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) wrote in a press release, “on February 17, 2023, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the PGPD that a social media account operating in the county possessed and distributed suspected child pornography. The image and videos had been uploaded to the social media account in January of 2023. Through various investigative techniques, PGPD investigators discovered the social media account belonged to Wojahn.”
Eleven days later, on February 28, PGPD detectives served a search warrant at Wojahn’s home. They seized multiple cell phones, a hard drive, a tablet, and a computer.

Poll: Americans Support Freeze on Construction on China-Owned Property Near Military Installations

Most likely voters believe the U.S. should put a freeze on construction of China-owned property located near U.S. military installations in the wake of the spy balloon making its way across the country, a Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey released this week found.
The survey asked, “In light of the Chinese spy balloon, do you think the United States should put a freeze on any construction on or deliveries to/from Chinese owned property near U.S. military installations?”
Most, 76.3 percent, said yes, there should be a freeze on both, compared to 23.7 percent who said no.
There appears to be bipartisan support of a freeze on construction of or deliveries to China-owned property near military installations, as 89 percent of Republicans, 64 percent of Democrats, and 75 percent of independents are in support of a freeze.

J6 BOMBSHELL: DOJ VIDEO Shows Capitol Police Holding Open “Upper West Terrace Doors” On Jan 6… Over 250 Individuals Allowed to Walk Into Capitol by Police Then Later Arrested and Abused

The video begins by explaining how the US Department of Justice obtained the surveillance video and that the subjects are being recorded in the doors and hallway of the “Upper West Terrace doors of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.”
Capitol Police can be seen casually walking in the opposite direction of protesters who are freely entering the Upper West Terrace doors into the hallway that leads to a set of double doors where more police officers are standing and watching or, in some cases, holding the doors open for the protesters to enter inside.
A series of screenshots from the video below shows over 250 protesters entering the Capitol with no resistance from Capitol Police officers. Notice how the protesters are all very orderly and respectful of the police officers, who don’t appear to be the least bit concerned about their safety from the “dangerous insurrectionists.”
At 2:33 pm on Jan. 6, Capitol Police allowed five unidentified men (federal agents) to exit through the double doors inside the Capitol to the hallway of the Upper West Terrace doors to the outside. The men walk in an orderly fashion through the hallway and exit.
A gentleman wearing a red hat just happens to be outside the door when the last of the five unidentified men leave the Capitol building. He catches the door and holds it open for more protesters to enter.
Inside the Capitol, at least one police officer is standing by the double doors watching and helping to prop open the door for more protesters to enter.
Is this how Capitol Police are trained to behave when they are “under attack” by a “dangerous mob?”
An estimated 250 protesters entered through the Upper West Terrace doors that day. Many of them have been charged with felony obstruction for entering a building undiscouraged, even though Capitol Police officers can clearly be seen assisting them and even encouraging them to come inside.
Capitol Police officers walked in the opposite direction of the incoming protesters through the hallway to the outside exit. At no time in the video do they attempt to stop the flow of protesters from entering the Capitol.
The Capitol Police officer walks back into the Capitol with his back toward the large crowd of protesters. He doesn’t appear to have any concerns about turning his back on the “dangerous mob.”
The crowd in the hallway begins to swell. Capitol Police do not attempt to prevent them from entering.
A woman can clearly be seen videotaping the police as they allow large crowds of protesters to enter the Capitol. Still, the police officers curiously do not attempt to stop the protesters.

Eighty percent (80%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is important that the public be able to view all the videos of the Capitol riot, including 58% who think it’s Very Important. Only 17% don’t think it’s important for the public to be able to see all the riot videos.
Eighty-six percent (86%) of Republicans, 78% of Democrats, and 75% of voters not affiliated with either major party believe it is important that the public be able to view all the videos of the Capitol riot.

Kari Lake filed new paperwork and 779 pages of evidence in the Arizona Supreme Court today, appealing the lower courts’ decisions to dismiss her lawsuit contesting the rigged 2022 Election.
Lake also filed a ‘Motion To Expedite’ her case, arguing that “expeditious action to resolve these issues is needed to safeguard Arizona voters’ right to free and equal elections.”

- Maricopa’s failure to perform mandated L&A testing led to tabulators rejecting ballots at nearly two-thirds of Maricopa’s 223 vote centers over 7,000 times every thirty minutes, beginning at 6:00 am and continuing past 8:00 pm—causing massive disruptions, hours-long lines and disenfranchising thousands of predominantly Republican voters on Election Day.
Maricopa County clearly disenfranchised tens of thousands of voters on election day with deliberate machine failures targeting Republican voters. Lake recently revealed new findings that Maricopa County kept a map of Republican voters on the wall, which lined up almost perfectly with the locations of election day machine failures.

According to Findley v. Sorenson (1929), these errors, even if not intentional, can nullify an election if “they affect the result, or at least render it uncertain.” This is further confirmed by the opinion in Hunt v. Campbell (1917), which states, “wherever such practices or influences are shown to have prevailed, not slightly and in individual cases, but generally, so as to render the result uncertain, the entire vote so affected must be rejected.”

US Bankruptcy Filings Surge At Fastest Pace Since 2009

when looking at the recent pace of large bankruptcy filings (those with more than $50MM in liabilities), in the first month of the year, the number of US bankruptcies topped 20, the highest in any other January dating back to 2010. Back then, 25 filings were seen as the economy was still reeling from the aftermath of the GFC.

The spike in defaults was not a fluke, and according to Bloomberg data, one month later – as of the end of February – no less than 39 large companies had filed for bankruptcy in the US so far this year, as February’s pace matches that of January; the YTD total represents the fastest pace of companies filing for bankruptcy since the immediate aftermath of the global financial crisis in 2009. By comparison, US bankruptcy courts had seen 63 large filings at this point in 2009.
Last week’s seven large filings — those tied to at least $50 million of liabilities — include the liquidation of generic drugmaker Akorn and the Chapter 11 filing of Covid-19 testmaker Lucira Health
This year, some of the most notable bankruptcy filings have been festive retailer Party City Holdco Inc, mattress maker Serta Simmons Bedding LLC, and cryptocurrency lender Genesis Global Holdco.

Apple suppliers rarely comment on supply chain shifts due to secrecy, but a new report via Bloomberg reveals AirPods maker GoerTek Inc.’s view of the shifting world and how it plans to diversify out of China.
GoerTek is one of Apple’s many suppliers and is exploring new production facilities outside China. The company assembles AirPods and other consumer electronic products, such as drones, speakers, Bluetooth products, 3D electronic glasses, and LED series products.

Project Veritas released a new video today showing the harsh conditions that the American homeless population endures because of limited resources that are being prioritized for the influx of illegal immigrants in the city.

Beatrice, who is a whistleblower with concerns for how the American homeless population is being treated, told Veritas journalists that Chicago has prioritized illegals over citizens. She also alleges that the city’s mayor, Lori Lightfoot, may be partially to blame.

“The mayor has not signed the bill for Americans to be permanently placed,” Beatrice said.

“They are prioritizing immigrants over Americans,” she said.

In a conversation with a homeless shelter worker, Beatrice asked how the system currently prioritizes housing applications:

As noted, there’s a special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s sticky fingers when it came to classified documents from his time as vice president and a U.S. senator — so why not a special counsel to investigate his son?

Republicans shouldn’t wait for the DOJ to act. They should launch their own investigation.

House Votes To Block Biden Rule Allowing Investors To Politicize Retirement Accounts

The House of Representatives voted along party lines Tuesday to block a proposed Labor Department rule that would allow retirement plan managers to consider political objectives when making investments.
The Biden administration submitted the rule, which would allow managers to consider environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors when investing, in Nov. 2022. Previously, plan managers could only consider fiduciary factors. The Congressional Review Act allows Congress to block executive orders and guidance by a simple majority vote in both chambers.
All 216 voting Republicans supported the resolution, introduced by Kentucky Rep. Andy Barr, while all 205 voting Democrats opposed it. Six Republicans and seven Democrats missed the vote.

The parent company for former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform is asking Congress to investigate the Securities and Exchange Commission, alleging regulators there have engaged in “egregious conduct and blatant politicization” to delay the social media platform’s potential merger with an acquisition firm.
The SEC has been reviewing the so-called S4 plan submitted in fall 2021 by Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC) to merge with Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns the Truth Social platform that now boasts millions of users and has become a potent alternative for conservatives to traditional social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
DWAC is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) that raised millions of dollars from investors who have been in limbo for 18 months as the SEC review has dragged on, a delay the Trump firm’s top lawyer says is unwarranted.

Almost 80 Percent of Americans Aged 17–24 Unfit for Military Service

One 2022 study found a link between receiving food assistance and a greater chance of becoming obese through the consumption of unhealthy foods. This is especially true for participants in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
As the largest federal nutrition assistance program in the United States, SNAP counts thousands of U.S. military members among its beneficiaries.
Presently, there are 22,000 active duty individuals and nearly a quarter million National Guard service members who receive SNAP, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
But this isn’t a new problem. Findings from a 2015 USDA analysis revealed 40 percent of total SNAP participants were obese.
The Cost Barrier
The top seven subsidized foods covered under SNAP have been associated with “cardiometabolic risk factors” like obesity since 2009. Subsidized crops are turned into highly processed foods with little to no nutritional benefit, many of which are available to SNAP recipients.
Ultra-processed foods directly contribute to obesity, according to a 2022 health report. In the analysis, it stated the consumption of ultra-processed foods is likely much higher among those participating in SNAP.
And that’s because, unlike some U.S. nutrition subsidy programs, SNAP covers purchasing items like cookies, soda, candy, and ice cream.

The US is preparing to stage false flag chemical attacks in Ukraine to pin the blame on Moscow for the use of banned toxic agents, the chief of Russia’s Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense troops, Igor Kirillov, has said.
The Americans believe that the international community wouldn’t be able to organize an effective investigation of such “provocations” due to the fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces, which would allow Washington to escape responsibility, Kirillov said during a briefing on Tuesday.
Russia’s Defense Ministry has obtained information that a train with a cargo of chemical substances in one of its cars had apparently arrived in the Ukrainian-controlled city of Kramatorsk in Donbass on February 10, the commander said.
The 16 metal boxes with special markings that suggest they contained BZ (3-Quinuclidinyl benzilate) incapacitating agent as well as CS (chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile) and CR (dibenzoxazepine) harassing ‘riot-control’ agents, were accompanied by the “citizens of foreign nations,” he also alleged.
According to Kirillov, the chemicals were unloaded at a local metallurgical plant under the supervision of Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) and put on US-supplied armored vehicles that later moved out towards a contact as part of a convoy.

The WHO’s international draft treaty contains sections that directly clash with the U.S. Constitution. The treaty calls on the parties to “tackle false, misleading, misinformation or disinformation.” This is a flagrant violation of free speech.
As has been shown to be true repeatedly throughout the Covid pandemic response, public health officials were consistently wrong on issues ranging from the effectiveness of masks to the baseless argument that Covid vaccines stop transmission. Even if the experts were right, it is a violation of Americans’ citizens rights for the government to suppress or censor speech.
The U.S. Senate’s approval of the treaty would be forbidden to contain provisions, called reservations. The draft WHO CA+ prohibits such reservations.
The WHO-CA+ treaty also contains passages on “equity” that would arguably be found unconstitutional on the basis that they violate equal protection.
The Biden administration is thus being sued over a public health rule they argue illegally gives power to the World Health Organization (WHO).
As the legal complaint states, “The Department’s definition of ‘public health emergency’ in 42 C.F.R. § 70.1 exceeds the agency’s authority, as it unlawfully delegates to the World Health Organization (WHO) the authority to invoke emergency health powers in the United States—infringing on U.S. and state sovereignty.”
The U.S. Constitution’s Article II, Section 2 clause states the president “shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur.”
Treaties to which the United States is a party also have the force of federal legislation, forming part of what the Constitution calls ”the supreme Law of the Land.”
“The Senate does not ratify treaties. Following consideration by the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Senate either approves or rejects a resolution of ratification. If the resolution passes, then ratification takes place when the instruments of ratification are formally exchanged between the United States and the foreign power,” the U.S. Senate notes.
All treaties or international agreements must comport with the U.S. Constitution or they are non-binding, null, and void.

Texas Tech University announced Feb. 7 it would no longer require applicants to submit DEI statements after a National Association of Scholars report found that its biology department considered applicants’ statements and marked little commitment to or understanding of DEI as a weakness.

A school district in Georgia was forced to pay $100,000 in legal fees to a group of mothers who were barred from conducting out loud readings at school board meetings of the porn-infested books the board had approved for kids to see on school library shelves.
A federal court ordered the Forsyth, Georgia, County School District to pay the legal fees of the group calling themselves the Mama Bears, who sued the district when officials barred them from reading from the disgusting books during board meetings, according to Atlanta NBC affiliate WXIA.
The group claimed that the school board violated their First Amendment rights in order to hide the disgusting, inappropriate content of the books from the public. And a federal judge agreed, ruling that the board’s efforts to shut the mom’s group down was unconstitutional. The lawsuit against the district was brought by parents Alison Hair and Cindy Martin who attempted to read aloud at a board meeting passages of board-approved books that she feels are pornographic in nature. Hair and other members of Mama Bears group were barred from reading the passages, a policy the women claimed is illegal.
The women’s group sued the school district in a federal lawsuit and won. Fox News added that the district was ordered to pay the Mama Bears nominal damages of $17.91 and their attorneys fees of $107,500.

Governments cannot blame inflation on Putin’s war or the so-called “supply chain disruptions” anymore. Printing money above demand is the only thing that makes prices rise in unison. If a price rises due to an exogenous reason but the quantity of currency remains equal, all other prices do not rise. A PCE index of 4.5% in January 2023 with all the main commodities below the January 2022 level shows how high inflationary pressures are.
Inflation is accumulated, and the narrative is trying to convince us that bringing down inflation from 8% to 5% in 2024 will be a success. No. It will be a massive destruction of more than 20% of purchasing power of citizens from inflation in the period.
However, rate hikes are not enough. Broad-based money growth needs to come down rapidly. So far, in the United States, broad money growth is flat and has declined to more reasonable levels in December 2022.
Two recent papers published by the Bank of International Settlements remind us that money growth was the main culprit for the inflation surge. . An upsurge in money growth preceded the inflation flare-up, and countries with stronger money growth saw markedly higher inflation. L

DOE rule could take half of gas stoves off market, new projection shows

The Department of Energy ‘s proposed conservation standards for new cooking devices would remove from the market about half the gas stove models used by consumers, the agency said in a new memo, igniting fresh controversy over the popular household appliance.
In its filing, the department noted that just 40% of gas stoves in the U.S. today would meet the criteria outlined in the proposed rule , which seeks to increase energy efficiency and reduce indoor air pollution generated by the popular appliance.
That means that at least half of U.S. stoves would not be eligible for repurchase in stores if the rule were to come into force today, the department said.
Officials have stressed that the proposed rule would not take effect for another three years if finalized.

Now that President Joe Biden’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) rule has been published in the Federal Registry, Congress can review it and disapprove it. The Congressional Review Act (CRA) is the one weapon Congress has to keep the Biden Administration from wolfing down Americans’ 401(k)s.
The ESG rule is one of those Biden blunders that needs review and disapproval now. The rule issued through the Department of Labor encourages retirement fund managers to insert political bias into their investment decisions, in favor of environmental, social and corporate governance ideals — a shifting goal — rather than profitability. The regulation is 180 degrees opposite of the intent of Congress when it created the rule that mandated that fund managers make decisions that protect the financial interests of clients
The Biden ESG rule allows these fund managers to instead take the retirement savings of millions of hard-working Americans and, rather than invest them for earnings, invest them with one or both eyes on political correctness, or for some shifting environmental or social engineering goal.

JPMorgan should reveal more about CEO Dimon’s role in Epstein accounts -U.S. Virgin Islands

In a Thursday filing in Manhattan federal court, the U.S. Virgin Islands said JPMorgan’s wrongful conduct continued at least until August 2019, when Epstein killed himself.
But it said JPMorgan has agreed to provide relevant documents for Dimon only through 2014, and should provide documents for the next five years.

The U.S. Virgin Islands called Dimon “a likely source of relevant and unique information” about decisions to retain Epstein as a client, and discussions on Epstein’s referrals of prominent and wealthy potential clients.
According to the filing, the business referral relationship continued after Epstein stopped being a client.
JPMorgan is seeking the lawsuit’s dismissal. It did not immediately respond to requests for comment after business hours on the latest filing. Dimon has not been accused of wrongdoing.

The United States is currently not in a war with or against Syria, so why are we conducting dangerous military operations there?” Gaetz said in a statement on the resolution.

Moderna Paid NIAID $400 Million in ‘Royalties’ on COVID-19 Vaccine Sales

A Covid vaccine maker that received clinical trial approvals from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), formerly headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, has just paid $400 million to the “public health” organization.
The cash windfall that Moderna recently paid the NIAID was reported by the industry watchdog group Fierce Pharma.
“In Moderna’s earnings release Thursday, the company said it recently paid the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) a $400 million ‘catch-up payment’ under a new royalty-bearing license agreement between the parties,” the report noted.

House Republicans Are Set to Get Covid Response Hearings Off with a ‘Bang’

The House GOP is set to launch hearings this week as part of its investigation into the U.S. government’s response to the Covid pandemic.
The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic is planning to investigate the regulatory process of authorizing and approving Covid-19 vaccines, how these mRNA shots were authorized so quickly, why these vaccines were mandated for all Americans, even those who were not at significant risk, and why ‘natural immunity’ following prior infection was ignored by the scientific community.
“I expect our oversight hearings will shed light on the FDA approval process, the potential for side effects, and ultimately the success rate and safety of the vaccine—each of which will help us to navigate future global health emergencies,” she added.
Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) said that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which clears vaccines, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which decides whether to recommend vaccines, “increasingly bypassed their expert advisory panels during the pandemic after the panels pushed back against decisions like advocating for boosters before a review of trial data was complete,” the report noted.
“We need to know who made the decision to bypass the standard vaccine approval processes,” Lesko, a subcommittee member, said.
“The Covid-19 vaccine mandates were a clear abuse of government authority, and we need to know who made the formal decision to implement these mandates. The Arizona Senate and House Elections Committees yesterday heard testimony and presentations from multiple individuals regarding election anomalies and potential fraud in Arizona’s elections over many years.

During the meeting, legislators considered a presentation by Jacqueline Breger, which, if true, exposed absolutely bombshell information regarding massive corruption and collusion between American politicians, appointed government officials, and the Sinaloa Cartels. The money laundering and racketeering scheme allegedly uses fraudulent mortgages, real estate transactions, and insurance claims in Maricopa County to hide money made through cartel human trafficking, drug trafficking, and bribery of elected officials, and to rig elections, intimidate, or murder those who threaten the operation.
The scheme allegedly creates identities, credentials, and professional licenses for “non-existent individuals,” which if true, could be used for fake voter registrations. The Maricopa County computer database is also used for the alleged “removal of genuine documents from the county system.”
Breger identifies herself as a longtime Arizona resident and a forensic investigator with the Harris/Thaler Law Corporation, investigating multi-state racketeering and corruption. She states that she holds a masters degree in marketing and honors degrees in Finance, Financial Accounting, Business, statistics, economics, and business strategy.
Breger claims that attorney John Thaler investigated money laundering and racketeering in Maricopa County and reviewed over 120,000 documents which include “fake notarizations, fake deeds of trust, fraudulent buyers and or sellers of the real property transactions, as well as other companies used in real estate transactions, such as real estate brokers, mortgage companies Title and Escrow companies, real estate inspection companies, service companies.”

It appears that John Thaler and Brittany Chavez, formerly Brittany Thaler, were once married and Brittany is listed as a defendant in a lawsuit by Plaintiff John Thaler. In June 2022, John Thaler alleged that Brittany Thaler “has engaged in an array of criminal enterprises across multiple states, including money laundering and tax evasion, allegedly accomplished via real estate transactions and non-profit organizations; insurance fraud, allegedly accomplished via phony personal injury claims made on behalf of non-existent persons; skimming money from state-run aid programs; narcotics trafficking; hacking into state databases and fabricating public records; bribing public officials, including judges, police officers, judicial assistants, inspectors, assessors, and accountants; bribing private professionals, such as real estate agents and brokers; bankruptcy fraud; election fraud, allegedly accomplished by creating fake ballots and manipulating others in order to influence, among other races, the 2020 election for Maricopa County Recorder; extortion via “crypto-viruses”; the creation of fake employees on payroll systems in order to collect paychecks and benefits; and murder.” Dawna Rae Chavez is also named as a defendant.

In Arizona, laundered cash is used in part to bribe elected and appointed public officials and their support staff. The principal preparers of the documents necessary to affect the racketeering enterprise are Dawna Rae Chavez, a resident of Mesa, and her daughter Brittany Rae Chavez.

To date, more than 10,000 falsified documents have been recorded with the Maricopa County Recorders Office. We estimate that more than 35,000 warranty deeds and trust deeds evidencing fraudulent transactions exist in the database. The number of falsified notarizations exceeds over 15,000.

The city of Mesa is a racketeering organization, as that term is defined in 18 USC Section 1961. To protect the enterprise civil rights are systematically violated to preserve racketeering activities. fines and outrageous cash bonds are used to collect monies which are then skimmed and redirected into the racketeering enterprises. The city of Mesa Police Department; it’s a private police department that is used to support and protect racketeering enterprises.

Secretary of State: ERIC address is vacant

Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen made an unannounced visit to the published address of the headquarters of the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) this month, but found no ERIC headquarters at the location.
As his first official act in office, Allen withdrew the state from the voting registration system, keeping a promise he made on the campaign trail.

According to the Wall Street Journal, which got a leaked copy of the report:

Physical attacks on the U.S. power grid rose 71% last year compared with 2021 and will likely increase this year, according to a confidential industry analysis viewed by The Wall Street Journal.

A division of the grid oversight body known as the North American Electric Reliability Corporation found that ballistic damage, intrusion and vandalism largely drove the increase. The analysis also determined that physical security incidents involving power outages have increased 20% since 2020, attributed to people frustrated by the onset of the pandemic, social tensions and economic challenges.

CBS, which also got a copy of the leaked report, added this:

Between 2020 and 2022, E-ISAC tracked 4,493 incidents: 502 received through mandatory reporting and 3,991 through voluntary means.

The vast majority — 97% — of the incidents “resulted in no disruption of service.” But the remaining 3% of incidents resulted in “varying levels of grid impacts.” Toplines of this study were first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

That’s disturbing stuff, signaling that our power grid is a sitting duck for predators, and with Joe Biden in charge, we can expect a response comparable to the one that he’s demonstrated in East Palestine, Ohio. A blown out power grid could put us into the Stone Age in a matter of seconds.
There was also,an odd focus on “white supremacists” conducting the attacks, The reports seen, which were oddly coordinated, all quoted experts who cited white supremacists in one form or another as being at the root of the problem.
There also was no clear explanation as to why it’s happening from either news story, it’s just that attacks are up, and they are expected to get worse.

“The vision, in short, is that they want to take down the energy grid because if they take down the energy grid, they believe that society will then collapse,” Wainstein said.“And out of the collapse, [they believe], will arise a white nationalist government to replace the current government. Lost in a $1.7 trillion pork pie omnibus appropriations bill has been one spectacular giveaway: $100,000 per beneficiary of the Central States Pension Fund (CSPF). The fund provides pension benefits to nearly 360,000 private-sector workers and retirees, mostly Teamsters Union members. U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, called the deal out in December, noting it was “the largest private pension bailout in American history” that benefited only “a tiny minority of workers.” He suggested it resulted from the insanity of “allowing those who mismanaged pensions to determine whether their funds qualify for taxpayer assistance with no safeguards.”
Workers of the world are not united here. This is a cash grab benefiting one group of roughly 360,000 (3 percent) of the 11 million participants in the multi-employer plans.
And Covid, schmovid. Even before the panic and the lockdowns, the Congressional Research Service reported that the multi-employer pensions were underfunded by $650 billion. In 2018, CSPF had been projected to reach insolvency by 2025.
Now a precedent has been set. The Congressional Budget Office has already said: Sorry, the $86 billion the American Rescue Plan tagged for the union pension plans is not enough. Meanwhile, taxpayers more broadly are faced with a bigger devil lurking in the shadows. America’s public pension plans have robbed the henhouse for years through risky investments, chronic underfunding, implausible rate of return projections, inadequate employee contributions, overly generous benefits, and just plain public-sector greed. These state and local pensions present a problem to be measured in the trillions of dollars.
How much is the Teamsters’ mere $36 billion? To put it in perspective, you could run the state of Colorado for a year on that money. You could run all five states of New Hampshire, Vermont, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Idaho, and still have billions left over. The $36 billion is $108 from each man, woman, and child in America into the pockets of the Teamsters. And the White House bragged about it in a press release.

Ohio Department of Natural Resources Estimates 44,000 Animals Killed By East Palestine Train Derailment

As government officials continue to claim that the air and water are fine after a train carrying hazardous chemicals derailed in Ohio, the state’s Department of Natural Resources estimated that 44,000 animals have died from the toxic contamination.
Of the 44,000 dead animals, the ODNR said that an estimated 38,222 were minnows, ranging in size between 1 and 3 inches.
“ODNR used a calculation endorsed by the American Fisheries Society to estimate the total number of minnows killed in the entire 5-mile span of waterway from the derailment site to the point where Bull Creek flows into the north fork of Little Beaver Creek,” the department said in a statement. “Of the estimate, 38,222 were minnows, ranging in size between 1 and 3 inches.”

The fourth and final element of the proposed legislation would ensure that, “the Digital Bill of Rights aims to protect children from various online harms. And as we see, that’s a huge issue.”

Ohio Republicans are working to block local government and law enforcement agencies from assisting the federal government in enforcing federal acts, laws or executive orders related to firearms, according to recently introduced legislation.
Republican Ohio state Reps. Mike Loychik and Jean Schmidt introduced House bill 51 into the Ohio Legislature on Feb. 15, saying the bill was a protection for police officers who did not want to enforce President Joe Biden’s “brigade against Ohioans,” according to The Columbus Dispatch. Under the bill, federal laws that relate to the “possession, ownership, use or transfer of a firearm, accessory or ammunition by law-abiding citizens,” or laws that call for “confiscating firearms, accessories or ammunition from law-abiding citizens” would be blocked from enforcement, according to the legislation.

North Korea Warns US That Continued ‘Hostility’ May Be Considered ‘Declaration of War’

The Korean People’s Army test-fired four “Hwasal-2 strategic cruise missiles” from the northeastern city of Kim Chaek towards the Sea of Japan, according to reports in North Korean media on Friday morning, with the weapons tests announcement coinciding with war games hosted by the Pentagon involving US and South Korean forces.

North Korea has warned the US that its persistent “hostile and provocative practices” in flagrant disregard of repeated protests on the part of Pyongyang may be construed as a ‘declaration of war‘, according to state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

The warning was issued by Kwon Jong-gun, the director-general of the North Korean Foreign Ministry’s US affairs department.

The only way to quell the “vicious cycle” of escalating military tensions on the Korean Peninsula and in the surrounding region, according to the foreign ministry’s official, was for Washington to abandon plans to deploying strategic assets in the South and put and end to joint military drills with allies.Elsewhere in his statement, Kwon Jong-gun lambasted the fact that the US and South Korea “put a sovereign state’s legitimate right to self-defence on the agenda of the UNSC” and strongly protested and denounced the move.

The official warned of “strong corresponding action” should the United Nations Security Council discuss North Korea’s right to self-defense, and deplored the fact that the Council had become nothing but a tool used to exert Washington’s pressure on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

“If the UNSC has a true intention to contribute to peace and security in the Korean peninsula, it will have to bitterly condemn the U.S. and south Korea for their moves of escalating military tension such as frequent deployment of strategic assets and large-scale joint military drills against the DPRK,” the minister added.

China urges for the END of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as it calls for a cease-fire and peace talks: Beijing releases 12-point plan to solve conflict on eve of the anniversary of Putin’s war

WHAT IS CHINA’S 12-POINT CEASE-FIRE PROPOSAL?
1. Respecting the sovereignty of all countries.

Universally recognised international law, including the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, must be strictly observed. The sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of all countries must be effectively upheld. All countries, big or small, strong or weak, rich or poor, are equal members of the international community. All parties should jointly uphold the basic norms governing international relations and defend international fairness and justice. Equal and uniform application of international law should be promoted, while double standards must be rejected.

2. Abandoning the Cold War mentality.

The security of a country should not be pursued at the expense of others. The security of a region should not be achieved by strengthening or expanding military blocs. The legitimate security interests and concerns of all countries must be taken seriously and addressed properly. There is no simple solution to a complex issue. All parties should, following the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security and bearing in mind the long-term peace and stability of the world, help forge a balanced, effective and sustainable European security architecture. All parties should oppose the pursuit of one’s own security at the cost of others’ security, prevent bloc confrontation, and work together for peace and stability on the Eurasian Continent.

3. Ceasing hostilities.

Conflict and war benefit no one. All parties must stay rational and exercise restraint, avoid fanning the flames and aggravating tensions, and prevent the crisis from deteriorating further or even spiralling out of control. All parties should support Russia and Ukraine in working in the same direction and resuming direct dialogue as quickly as possible, so as to gradually de-escalate the situation and ultimately reach a comprehensive ceasefire.

4. Resuming peace talks.

Dialogue and negotiation are the only viable solution to the Ukraine crisis. All efforts conducive to the peaceful settlement of the crisis must be encouraged and supported. The international community should stay committed to the right approach of promoting talks for peace, help parties to the conflict open the door to a political settlement as soon as possible and create conditions and platforms for the resumption of negotiation. China will continue to play a constructive role in this regard.

5. Resolving the humanitarian crisis.

All measures conducive to easing the humanitarian crisis must be encouraged and supported. Humanitarian operations should follow the principles of neutrality and impartiality, and humanitarian issues should not be politicised. The safety of civilians must be effectively protected, and humanitarian corridors should be set up for the evacuation of civilians from conflict zones. Efforts are needed to increase humanitarian assistance to relevant areas, improve humanitarian conditions, and provide rapid, safe and unimpeded humanitarian access, with a view to preventing a humanitarian crisis on a larger scale. The UN should be supported in playing a coordinating role in channelling humanitarian aid to conflict zones.

6. Protecting civilians and prisoners of war (POWs).

Parties to the conflict should strictly abide by international humanitarian law, avoid attacking civilians or civilian facilities, protect women, children and other victims of the conflict, and respect the basic rights of POWs. China supports the exchange of POWs between Russia and Ukraine, and calls on all parties to create more favourable conditions for this purpose.

7. Keeping nuclear power plants safe.

China opposes armed attacks against nuclear power plants or other peaceful nuclear facilities, and calls on all parties to comply with international law including the Convention on Nuclear Safety (CNS) and resolutely avoid man-made nuclear accidents. China supports the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in playing a constructive role in promoting the safety and security of peaceful nuclear facilities.

8. Reducing strategic risks.

Nuclear weapons must not be used and nuclear wars must not be fought. The threat or use of nuclear weapons should be opposed. Nuclear proliferation must be prevented and nuclear crisis avoided. China opposes the research, development and use of chemical and biological weapons by any country under any circumstances.

9. Facilitating grain exports.

All parties need to implement the Black Sea Grain Initiative signed by Russia, Türkiye, Ukraine and the UN fully and effectively in a balanced manner, and support the UN in playing an important role in this regard. The cooperation initiative on global food security proposed by China provides a feasible solution to the global food crisis.

10. Stopping unilateral sanctions.

Unilateral sanctions and maximum pressure cannot solve the issue; they only create new problems. China opposes unilateral sanctions unauthorised by the UN Security Council. Relevant countries should stop abusing unilateral sanctions and ‘long-arm jurisdiction’ against other countries, so as to do their share in deescalating the Ukraine crisis and create conditions for developing countries to grow their economies and better the lives of their people.

11. Keeping industrial and supply chains stable.

All parties should earnestly maintain the existing world economic system and oppose using the world economy as a tool or weapon for political purposes. Joint efforts are needed to mitigate the spillovers of the crisis and prevent it from disrupting international cooperation in energy, finance, food trade and transportation and undermining the global economic recovery.

12. Promoting post-conflict reconstruction.

The international community needs to take measures to support post-conflict reconstruction in conflict zones. China stands ready to provide assistance and play a constructive role in this endeavour. Source: dailymail.co.uk
